Dani was packed and busy across town for weeks, working in the studio with the cast for a television show.
The guy who had approached her months ago at Chez Francee was actually the musical producer of the new up and coming show Victorious.
She helped and gave feed back as much as she could while also working on her own career.
"Hey Katie." Dani smiled as she walked past the younger girl, causing her to smile and wave as she passed by.
Dani made her way through the open door of the boy's apartment to find them all huddled together in the kitchen.
"We can talk about boys." Kendall said as the blonde approached her, causing the girl to snort, gaining the boy's attention.
"Yeah, sure you can, babe." Dani chuckled, patting the boy's shoulder before turning her attention to the others. "Hey, guys. What was the emergency that I had to race back across town?"
"We're being invaded!" Carlos cried out, causing the blonde to raise her eyebrow. "The British are coming!"
"The british?" Dani questioned, looking up at her boyfriend for help to understand the situation.
"There's a new wave of British boy bands that are becoming popular very fast." Kendall explained, causing the girl to nod. "You know 1D, The Wanted, etc."
"Oh, I've met them. Even helped with some songs." Dani said, causing James to gasp. "They're cool people."
"You're helping the enemy!" James exclaimed, pointing at the blonde girl.
"No. I just had a few songs laying around, and so they bought them." Dani explained. "How was I supposed to know they were going to be hits?"
"Hits?" Carlos gasped.
"Yeah. You know, Glad You Came, Chasing the Sun, They Don't Know About Us. Nothing major."
"Yeah, because writing some of their biggest songs isn't major at all." Logan said, letting out a sarcastic laugh.
"Apparently we need a new songwriter who doesn't betray us!" James exclaimed, causing the Jennings girl to roll her eyes. "And we need a new manager."
"We do not need a new manager." Kendall disagreed.
"But statistics do show new managers reinvigorate lagging companies." Logan stated, stepping over to James and Carlos.
"Smart talk." James sang, pointing at the boy beside him. "And it looks like you're outnumbered. Tell him where you stand, invasion buddy of mine."
Carlos glanced between the three friends before quickly racing over to Kendall's side. "I'm on this side."
"Oh, you just made a big mistake." James said before quickly pulling out a straw, causing Carlos and Logan to quickly follow. "Okay, I don't know what we're doing here." Logan admitted, straw still to his mouth.
