Dani was across town on the set of the television show that would potentially be using her music in its soundtrack.
But when she got an urgent text from the boys telling her that they were in danger, she quickly rushed back to the Palm Woods.
"Okay, what happened?" Dani exclaimed, rushing in the door but quickly stopped in her tracks when she saw the four boys sitting on the orange couch, playing video games with Katie. "And you guys don't look in danger to me."
"We have a problem."
"Seriously?" Dani asked, raising her eyebrow. "I rushed over here because you're complaining about booking too many cameos."
"Not just any cameos. The worst cameos ever!" James exclaimed. "My hearing hasn't been the same since that giant cupcake exploded in my ear."
"At least your ear isn't oozing green goop from that super-sloppy game show we did." Carlos said.
The boy tilted his head before he began smacking his hand against his ear, causing green slime to come out of the other ear.
"Ew." Dani's nose scrunched up before she took a seat on the couch beside Kendall.
The sound of ringing filled the room, causing Dani to glance over at the boy beside her as he pulled out his phone, quickly answering.
"Gustavo! No more cameos!" Kendall exclaimed as soon as he answered the phone, causing Dani to silently chuckle before turning her attention to the TV. "Oh, really? Well, then... no more cameos!"
The boy tossed his phone to the ground in anger after ending the call.
"What TV show this time?" James asked.
"Coco.0"
Carlos let out a loud gasp, quickly pausing the game. "You mean the kidzie channel TV show about the girl robot, but only her spunky best friend knows that she's a robot, and if the popular kids found out, she'd be scrapped for parts?"
That's the one." Logan confirmed.
"Oh." Carlos cried in excitement.
"A lot of our fans worship that show." James pointed out.
"And the robot who plays Coco..." Carlos started. "She's amazing."
"You mean the actress." Katie interjected.
"She's amazing." Carlos whispered.
"Um, but we all agreed no more cameos." Kendall reminded the boys.
"Okay, but before you say no—" Carlos beamed, leaning forward, dropping his controller onto the table before grabbing the TV remote. "Just watch a little bit of the show."
The Garcia pressed play on a recorded episode of Coco.0, and Dani's ears were immediately filled with weird laughter.
"Okay, best friend Lindsay, now I'm ready to interface with the popular girls at study hall." The actress who played Coco spoke in a robotic tone.
