Anne's POV:

My eyes slowly open, I groan and turn from my side onto my back.

It's morning already?

I sit up on my bed and get up, I pick up my phone, and go to my closet. Which dress will I wear today..another half an hour of putting on a dress, and then another half an hour struggling to put on the corset. And staying in it almost all day.

Knock knock!

"Come in!" I say as the maid comes in, Juliana, she's my favorite maid in this whole entire castle..palace? I don't know.

I smile as I see her. "Oh hey Juli, can you help me pick out a dress, or did mother and father assign a dress for me to wear?"

I don't know why I ask that question everyday, I already know what she's gonna say.

"You know the answer madam, your parents have told me which dress for you to wear, I'll think you'll love it," 

I furrow my eyebrows. "Is it in my closet?"

She shakes her head. "No dear, but I'll get it for you, just wait here, alright?"

I nod and she smiles as she leaves.

I sit down on my bed. I just know it was dad who wanted to get me a new dress, and mom can't say no to an idea involving me, both of them can't.

I don't take advantage of this though, I want to repay them in some way, for being so nice and kind to me, so I'll just figure something out! Soon...! I got lost in my thoughts, until Juli comes back in with a big dress inside of a plastic garment bag.

My eyes widen. "Woah- is this the dress mother and father got me??"

She nods and smiles. "Yes, now try it on and see how it looks on you!"

I get up and grab the dress. "If you need any help, just tell me, I'll be waiting out here." Says Juli and I nod as I go to the restroom.

Alright Anne- just as we practiced, step by step- Juli showed you!

Alright I can't do this. I've been trying to do this for the past twenty minutes. Don't be embarrassed..just do it!..

"...Juli!....I need help...."  I mumble.

The bathroom door opens and Juli enters

"Alright madam, put your crinoline on,"

I nod and do as told, "ok and now..."

Finally! I got the dress on! Now it's time for the corset. I can do this! I know I can-

"Madam I'm going to put your corset on please turn around,"

"Juli, I'll think I'll do this by myself-"

Juli shakes her head. "No madam, you'll end up needing my help, and it'll just waste time, your parents are waiting for you downstairs, so please turn around."

I sigh but reluctantly turn around as she puts the corset on.

Juli is the most amazing person I know, she knows all of this stuff and I can't even figure out which string goes in the corset.

"Alright madam, all set."

I look into the mirror.

"Wow you did it so fast Juli! Thank you!" I say as I hug her.

She hugs me back. And chuckles. "No need to thank me, now come on your mother and father are waiting to see you in your new dress!"

She turns around and leaves my room, I pick up the sides of my dress to prevent me from falling, and I follow her to where my parents are
