@lhughes_06 "Infiltrated" Well I invited you
@adelaidetorne come outside and watch tiktok with me
tap for moreI heard the back door of the lake house slide open and the soft footsteps that made their way towards the hot tub, where I was lounging.
It wasn't long before Luke was also stepping into the hot tub to sit right next to me.
We didn't exchange any words but we sat in comfortable silence as I scrolled through different tiktoks.Until, I scrolled and an edit of Luke showed up, to the sound of Guilty as Sin? by Taylor Swift. While I tried my best to swipe away, Luke noticed immediately and pried my phone out of my hands, laughing.
Barely being able to breathe while laughing so hard he spoke, "There's no way you watch these edits of me. Oh my god people edit me to Taylor Swift," he said while struggling too even get out words.
"Luke stop," I said while my cheeks were on fire, "Give me my phone back!"
"This is so up your alley, oh my god. Me edited to Taylor Swift, you're so jealous aren't you?" He said while repeatedly watching the TikTok.
"I have no comment. Now give me my phone back."
"There's no way in hell, I'm going to show Jack." He said while quickly getting out of the hot tub.

While me, Luke, and Jack sat on the living room couch, watching a video of one of Quinn's playoff games, there was knocking on the door.
Knowing his girlfriend was arriving today, Luke automatically got up to answer the door.
While Luke was far enough away to not hear, Jack started speaking, "I don't like her," He said not stopping his eyes from continuing to pay attention the game.
"Don't be mean, Jack." I said, wanting Jack to support his brother.
"I'm serious, she's not a nice person. She's only nice to me and the guys. I see the way she treats you when nobody else is around."
When Luke had got girlfriends in the past, it had always been like this. I tried to convince myself when she wasn't around that everything was normal, but I knew I wanted to be that person for him.
"It's fine Jack seriously, if she doesn't like me I get it."
If I was Emily, I honestly wouldn't like me either. I wouldn't want my boyfriend being close with another girl, but I had always tried to show her I wasn't a threat as long as Luke was in a relationship.
Being the other woman would break me, and I would never do that to another girl.
When I heard the dragging of a suitcase and multiple footsteps behind me, I got up to greet them.
I smiled brightly, "Hi Emily! Nice to see you again," I said while attempting to give her a side hug, which she responded by just reaching her hand out to shake mine.
Acting as if we hadn't been around eachother over a dozen times.
While Luke didn't notice, being occupied with her luggage, her friend that was standing next to her did.
I greeted her as well, "Hey, nice to meet you-"
"Jade," She finished her name when I didn't finish my sentence, because I didn't know her name.
"Nice to meet you Jade, I'm Adelaide. You can just call me Addie though!"
"So I've heard," she said irritably.
I stood there awkwardly, not really knowing what to do myself.
After a few moments of silence between the three of us, Luke made his way towards us lugging Emily's luggage past us, towards the stairs.
"Emily, Jade come with me so I can show you the upstairs."
As they both followed him, passing me, I truly didn't know how I was going to be able to enjoy the summer here, while Luke and Emily's relationship plagued my mind. ౨ৎ
