After me and Jack chatted for about an hour or two, I decided to head home.
The thought of Luke in his room with a girl, who wasn't me, honestly made me sick to my stomach.
When I got home I immediately changed into my comfort pajamas, and laid in my bed.
It felt like this past month, I had been out more than I had been out the entire year.
The next morning, or more like afternoon because it was already around 12, I woke up with no motivation to do anything.
The rut I had been in before seemed to come back, and even worse than before.
The sound of opposite by Sabrina Carpenter blasted throughout my room. I have always had the bad habit of sulking and feeling bad for myself when bad things happened.
After the ending of the song faded out, before I went to go and make the song repeat again, I hear commotion from the kitchen, which seemed to the be the giggles of Audrey.
I got up, and made my way to the kitchen looking down at myself and making a mental note to find a new comfort t-shirt, one that preferably didn't get given to me by Luke.
When I found myself in the kitchen, I was met with Audrey trying to flip pancakes while Alex was behind her holding her from behind.
"Oh look at you lovebirds," I smiled at them while settling into a barstool.
Audrey looked back and detached herself from Alex while handing him the spatula she was using, and he immediately got to work flipping pancakes. She had him wrapped around her finger.
She came up behind me and gave me a hug, she whispered into my ear, "We are so going out tonight."
I laughed and pushed her away jokingly, "Only if you're paying for drinks."
"We're young, hot girls neither of us are paying for anything tonight," she replied causing Alex to laugh out loud.
He walked and slid the plate of pancakes across the island for us to start eating, "By that she means I'll be paying for you guys to go out tonight."
"Alex, how do you think we've survived the last couple years living in the city?" She bantered back, seeing Audrey like this make me so happy. She genuinely deserved everything good in the world, for all that she's done for me.
After eating breakfast, Audrey let me know her and Alex were going to head to his apartment for a while so he could get some of his stuff.
This meant I would be sitting on the couch until she came back and made me get up. About an hour into this while on my phone I decided to post on Instagram.
