Ron and Aurora were sitting in the common room playing a game of wizards chess, Ron was losing as per usual.

"How do you always win? I don't get it." Ron pouted.

"Just one of my many talents." Aurora winked.

Ron rolled his eyes and stood up to go sit on the couch, Aurora following but with her homework in hand.

She began writing her essay for transfiguration, not really paying attention to anything except the words she was writing down. That was until she felt a flick on her forehead.

Aurora looked up slowly to see Ron with odd expression. "Um, ow. What do you want?"

"I want you and Hermione to make up already. Me and Harry are getting really tired of being split between you two."

"Well I suggest you take a nap then." Aurora snarked, continuing to do her work.

flick.

"Ow!" Aurora cried out. "Why did you flick me again?!"

"Because you aren't listening to me. You and Hermione need to kiss and make up or whatever girls do or me and Harry will lock you guys in a room, alone. Until you figure out your issues." Ron said.

Aurora looked away waiting for Ron to get distracted by something else before leaning over and flicking him in the forehead.

Ron clutched his forehead, giving Aurora a glare. "How does your own medicine taste?" Aurora smirked.

"Like you are freakishly strong, and I am very sorry. I will never flick you again." Ron grumbled.

Aurora hadn't thought about what Ron said at all, it was completely out of her mind. So when someone put a sweater on backwards over her head and pulled her into an empty classroom and locked the door she seriously thought she had been kidnapped.

Then she saw her bushy brunette fri — person she knew standing with her arms crossed leaning against a desk.

"Hermione? What — why are you here? What just happened?" Aurora said very confused, she didn't have a great memory.

Hermione straightened up, her expression serious but with a hint of frustration. "We need to talk," she said, her tone leaving no room for argument.

Aurora crossed her arms defensively, still trying to process what had just happened. "So, you decided to kidnap me? A simple 'can we talk?' would have worked, you know."

Hermione sighed, running a hand through her hair. "You weren't listening before, and I didn't know how else to get you alone. You're a very stubborn person y'know. Ron and Harry are tired of this, and frankly, so am I."

Aurora narrowed her eyes. "Tired of what, exactly?"

"Of you shutting us out," Hermione said, her voice rising slightly. "We're your friends, Aurora. We care about you. But you can't just shut us out and expect us to act like everything is fine."
