Leah's POV
I need to find that freshman...
It's been three days since the locker room and I haven't seen her at all. She didn't go to school the next day. The two days following that she wasn't at practice either. Yesterday's practice was for forwards only anyways.
"Lena, have you seen Kiki?"
"Francisca? Why are you looking for her? Thought you hated each other?" Lena let out a laugh before remembering who she just said that to.
"Umm she'll be around here soon she always is...see you later at practice."
Lena and Jule hurried away after that. Lena's close to Francisca and so is Grace Clinton, one of the other freshman midfielders. I've been looking for those two the past two days in hopes of finding the other one.
There she is.
"Hey, can we talk?"
I jogged over to her, but like usual she wasn't alone. This time Mapi and Ingrid were on either side of her. Jill told me they've been spending a bit of time together.
"I really need to get to class..."
"You can just talk to her at practice." Mapi told me before I could say anything else.
"Okay...I'll see you later."
"Bye capt." Mapi smiled as they walked away.
Shit Mapi chose her freshman...
Of course it had to be her.
I should have known after Alexia and Jenni yelled at me that she'd be protected. How did they even find out? Did she really run straight to the most powerful woman at this school?
Alexia Putellas may not be the headmistress, but she's all of the athletes main focus. If you upset her say goodbye to your playing time. She will make sure you're benched.
"Talk to Kiki yet?"
"She's avoiding me still...now with a little extra help."
"Ah you found out about Mapi." Keira smiled as we walked into our first class.
"Thanks for the warning."
"I just found out this morning."
"Fair..."
"What are you going to say to her?"
"Fuck if I know. Fall to my knees begging her to forgive me."
"She's got thee Leah Willamson on her knees..." Keira didn't want to laugh, but I could tell she was about to.
"Alexia Putellas threatened the captaincy! I don't know why she's so important." I rolled my eyes as I leaned back in my seat.
"Do you know Alexia's full name?"
"Is Alexia Putellas not her full name?"
"She's spanish it's never just two words...you see I was curios because Georgia and I think they have some connection so I did some research and Alexia Putellas Segura may be related to little Ms. Francisca."
"Kiki's related to Alexia?!"
"No confirmation found yet, but it would explain quite a bit."
"Fuck...that changes things."
"Does it? You just have to apologize either way."
"Yeah." That's not what I was referring to though.
