ZADIE HOPPED UP AT THE SOFT TAP ON HER WINDOW, already knowing who it was. She unlocked it and pulled the blue-haired male into the room. He climbed through her window and landed on the floor with a huff.
"Climbing that ladder is a lot more tiring than you'd expect." He sighed as he got up, "Hm, your room is so... blue. I coulda sworn it was purple the last time." He looked around room,
"That's cause my room was dark, I was just playin' my guitar a few seconds ago so the lamp was on." She rolled her eyes and flopped onto her bed, "So, what're we doing? Why'd you come here?" She asked as she rose a brow.
"Wanna go underground?" He smirked as he held out his hand to her.
"Say what?"
"Do you wanna go underground?" He asked again, silently urging her to take his hand.
"Which kind of underground? Like, the artist kind or the villain kind?" She asked cautiously.
"Depends on what answer I get." He shrugged,
"Tomura." Zadie glared at him.
"Ugh fine, the villain kind—"
"I know you fuckin' lying." Zadie blurted, her earth-colored orbs widening.
"What?"
"You gotta be lying, oh hell no." Zadie shook her head she waved her hand in front of her face to refuse his offer. She swallowed thickly before making eye contact with him, "I— I can't! I'm gonna be a hero, I can't be seen with a villain! I go to UA!" She cried,
"Villains aren't that bad— Wait, you go where?"
"UA." She confirmed before gulping,
"Oh shit, I'm gonna have change a bit of the plan," He muttered, "How old did you say you were?"
"I didn't," Tomura widened his eyes in a way that said 'then tell me', "I'm fifteen, I'll be sixteen in August."
Tomura's shoulders seemed to relax a little, "Respectable, I guess. It's a five year gap." He shrugged,
"Five years... you're twenty!?" She gasped,
"Well I sure as hell don't look sixteen." He scoffed before sitting in a rolling chair near a desk, "It's fine, no one has to know."
"That I'm friends with a villain or that he's a grown ass man?" She rolled her eyes,
"How about both? You go to a school for heroes, I'm villain who despises heroes... It's better for the both of us if we keep this hushed."
Zadie scoffed in disbelief, she sat up and turned to look at Tomura who picked up a paper on her desk. "You still wanna be friends with me? Are you out of your mind?"
"Yes. I'm a villain, most of us aren't exactly sane."
"Insane in the membrane." She whispered under her breath.
"What?"
"Nothing, I got distracted by a song." She shrugged, "Though, it might apply to you. Are you insane?"
"If I say yes will you come to the underground with me?"
"YOU STILL WANT ME TO GO!?"
"Uh... Yes?"
"What part of 'I am a hero in training and cannot associate with thy likes of you' did you fail to comprehend?"
"No, I understand. I just failed to care."
Zadie knew she was going to end up agreeing anyway. She's weak and easily persuaded even when she knows it's bad idea, she huffed and rolled her eyes as she no longer sees any point in protesting. She enjoyed taking risks and the excitement that the feeling of adrenaline brought her. Her answer was always going to be yes, whether she liked it or not.
"... Let me get dressed."
