MADHU'S POV

"I will murder someone," I mumbled as I rested my face on my palm, watching her laugh hard as one of the young junior girls said something.

"Jealousy is a disease," Mina muttered, not taking her eyes off the book as I huffed, looking down.

"It's not fair, ughhh!" I groaned, resting my head on one of the tables we had near the cafeteria.

She was standing quite far, since she didn't seem to notice the daggers I had been sending with my eyes.

"I feel you, Madhu; in new love, you get jealous very easily," Tanya sympathized as I looked at her with puppy eyes.

She gets me!

"We have been together for 4 years, and you still get jealous when I look at a woman," Mina said, trying to balance a chemical equation.

"That's different!" Tanya responded, and I took a fork out as I looked at Ekansha throughout the gaps, smiling as UT looked like she was in prison.

Suddenly, one of the girls slipped. Ekansha was quick to grab her from the back as she held her for a split second.

"Look at how she is touching that girl!" I snarled, looking at the two who sat beside me.

"Well, in times like this, you should try to make her jealous, Tanya said as Mina snickered.

"Good luck, babe," Mina said, looking at me as she patted my shoulder.

"Why, I mean, almost every girl gets jealous easily; how hard can it be?" I said this as Mina chuckled.

"Try it," Tanya encouraged as I began thinking about how to make her jealous.

"How about you take her to the club we went to that day?" Tanya begged as I looked at her, narrowing my eyes as I tried to figure out which club she was talking about.

"Comeon, the one where you dragged her out, remember you got jealous?"

I snapped my finger as I remembered the club. This is perfect; there will be queer girls, and I can make her jealous!

"If you want, I can ask one of my friends to help you. She is from our college," Mina said as I put my arms on her shoulder.

"Please do so today itself. I will convince her to take me to the club, and I can finally make her jealous." I said.

"Eh, not today; we have a test tomorrow. Let's go on Friday," Mina said as me and Tanya groaned, but then agreed.

I looked at Ekansha, smirking evilly as I rubbed my hands.

Let the game begin!

FRIDAY

Yes! Let's go!

After showing my puppy eyes some kisses, we are finally going to the club. Ekansha wasn't in the mood to go as she just wanted to stay at home, but she couldn't say no to me, so I used it to my advantage.

I felt a bit guilty as I realized how she always agrees to do things I see, but then the guilt flew out when she got a call from Mannat. Seeing her laugh so loudly raised a fire of jealousy, which worked as motivation.

"What made you want to go there all of a sudden?" She asked as I texted Mina and Tanya about our arrival.

"Huh, oh well, I just wanted to go," I said, cheekily smiling as I pinched my cheeks.

"Don't get too drunk," she warned as I nodded.

"And be careful; don't eat a lot and dance; you will get sick, either dancing or eating," she said as I nodded again.

"And if you see anyone who gives bad-"

"I am a grown adult," I reminded her as she scoffed.

"Sure,"

"Are you being sarcastic?"

"I don't know, am I?"

"Oh please,"

We bickered for a while before reaching the destination. I excitedly hoped towards the entrance, dragging her to the area as she followed me.

After a bit of hustle, we finally reached the place. Hearing the loud music and a bunch of gorgeous women gave me nostalgia.

"Madhuuu!" I heard Tanya shout as I ran towards her.

"Oh, you guys are here too?" I asked Ekansha as she walked towards us. Out of nowhere, Mina came and dragged her to the side, leaving me and Tanya alone.

"I have someone to introduce you too," she said, dragging me through the crowd before she stopped in front of a girl.

"Kiara!" She shouted, and the girl turned back, a bottle of beer on her hand as she waved.

She was pale with jet black hair and had prominent cheek bones. She looked quite haunting, but still very good-looking. Thick eyebrows that had a ring percing on them.

"Hey, there," she said, reaching out as she shook my hand.

"I'm Kiara, from the faculty of literature," she said as I nodded.

"Madhu, from the faculty of organic chemistry," I said.

"She is perfect to make her jealous," Tanya said excitedly as I looked at her suspiciously.

"Ok, but first of all, how far do you want me to go? Like,  what's the boundary?" She asked as I thought for a second.

"Just don't touch me too much, but I would appreciate it if she actually turned a bit jealous," I said as she crossed her arms, nodding.

"I'm going to add fuel to the fire, byee," Tanya said as she ran off. The girl tapped on the seat as I saw her awkwardly.

She took the seat beside me as she leaned forward, facing me as she asked.

"If you don't mind me asking, what is the reason, like, what did your poor girlfriend do that you want her to be this jealous?" She asked as I sighed.

"Because she always does this, every time she would be overly friendly and I would be burning with jealousy, I want her to feel like that too. I know it's toxic, but maybe just once I want her to get jealous," I ranted, the girl smiling as she listened to my cries.

"Well, your lovely girlfriend is looking at us, so start your acting," she said as I sat straight.

"I almost feel bad for her," she said, leaning back with a playful smirk.

"Can you laugh really loud?" She asked, and I didn't waste a second before I let out an outrageous amount of laughter.

"Ok, not that much," she said as I glared at her, making her giggle.

"I won't lie, you guys are cute; these little playwrights are extremely adorable," she said as I squinted.

"You don't like anyone?" I asked as she paused, looking down at her hand as she spoke.

"There is a girl, but she hates me."

I got very excited as I leaned in towards her as I asked.

"Ooooo, tell me, tell me, is it a lover story yet?" she said, shaking her head, making me groan.

"Come on, did you try flirting with her?" I asked as she looked up.

"I didn't; I'm scared of getting rejected," she said, passing me a glass.

"Wanna join for a dance?" She asked as I nodded.

We walked towards the dance floor, dancing as if we couldn't see a bit of distance, but still making sure that she was getting jealous. The time flew by, and song after song we danced, Tanya and Mina joining us as I had an awesome time.

"Is she jealous?" I asked, looking at her, who was dancing.

"Hmm, I think that's an understatement," she said, making me frown. She leaned in as she whispered.

"Good luck," she whispered as I heard Tanya whisper.

"She is coming."

My eyes widened as my heart rose. I stumbled, trying to find a proper dance move so that it matched the music.

I felt her grab my arm, pulling me towards her as my back crashed against her softly.

"I'm going; when you are done, meet me at the parking lot," she said.

"Huh?"

I abruptly turned around as I looked behind me, but she had already disappeared. Tanya and Mia came towards me as my face fell.

"Damn, she really doesn't get jealous," Tanya said.

"What did I tell you?" Mina said. I sighed, disappointed at the fact that my plane had failed. I expected her to grab my wrist and drag me out, like in the movies.

Maybe a fiery kiss?

The two walked away as I turned towards the exit, but then I saw Kiara as she smiled.

"Looks like the plan failed," I mumbled as her eyebrows crashed in confusion.

"Whatchu mean?"

"She seems to not be jealous at all," I mumbled, my shoulders dropping as I saw my plan flop.

"Oh, hell naw, she is burning right now," I heard Kiara say.

"Now go; make sure to be safe!" She said as she pushed me towards the existence.

I walked towards the car as I saw her inside, her head resting against the steering wheel. I opened the door as she looked at me. I tried to find an ounce of jealousy in her eyes, but her eyes seemed dull.

The car ride began; she stayed silent but occasionally asked me how it was and if I enjoyed it. I admitted to having a lot of fun and saw her nod; she looked moody but not jealous. I looked out the window, disappointment written across my face.

Within some time, we reached home. She parked the car as I waited for her to come. It was odd of her to be silent, but I shrugged it off.

We climbed the stairs as I reached my room. I turned around to wish her goodnight as she nodded, a scowl forming as she didn't say it back.

I was about to close the door, but then she held it. I opened it, thinking she must have wanted something, but within a beat, she came inside, grabbing my waist as I was pinned to the door.

I gasped, watching her face suddenly come so close as she towered over me. Her eyes were looking into mine as I was her prey, and my heart began to escalate.

"Baby, what happened?" I asked softly as she glared straight at me. Her hands gently held mine, dragging them behind me as she kept one over the other, holding my wrists with one of her hands.

I gulped in the sudden change of aura, making me kind of regret my plan.

"Why do you always leave me alone when we go to these clubs?" She asked, and her voice, being stern, made me gulp as I completely regretted the decision.

"Huh, I didn't," I tried saying, but she shook her head, side to side.

"You danced with her; why do you never do that with me?" She fumed, and I began getting anxious as I looked down, trying to think of a reason.

I shouldn't have tried to make her jealous.
