While Blanc was on her date with Hook, Red and Chloe were plotting in their room. Chloe paced in front of Red. "Now that we know where the book is, I think the solution is clear."

"For sure. There's only one option." Red said as if the option was pretty obvious. Which it probably was but Chloe isn't the smartest.

"Yeah." She nodded and sat down on a chair before she looked at Red. "It's time to tell Principal Merlin. We need to come clean. He can help us."

"No. Help us? You think he'll hand over a banned book because we asked him?" Red asked not believing that Chloe thought that seeking help would be the wisest idea. Only idiots seek help from authorities.

"Do you have a better idea?" Chloe stood up and took a step towards Red.

"Yeah. We do it ourselves. We break in and steal it." Red tried to convince Chloe. "That's what Uliana's gonna do. Unless we get there first."

Chloe looked pissed at her idea and shook her head in denial. "You wanna break into the Principal's office? It's enchanted. And Castlecoming is tomorrow. We only have one shot to get this right. And your idea is to steal?" She exclaimed outraged.

"And your plan is to go tell the teacher?" Red took a step closer until they were almost touching and looked at her irritated. "You're such a goody-goody."

"I'd rather be a goody-goody than a bad person." Chloe said.

"You sound like your mom." Red looked her up and down while Chloe nodded, smiling sarcastically. "Thank you."

"How'd that work out for her?" Red provoked her and Chloe stopped arguing for a moment looking clearly hurt at Red's words.

"Wow. You know, you are evil. Just like your mom." Chloe looked close to tears. "Maybe I should've asked Blanc for help and not you. At least she seems more loyal than you could ever be."

"Yeah, maybe..." Red also looked hurt and looked Chloe in her eyes. "But I'm gonna get us outta here." She said calmly and left the room. Chloe, who was left back, looked at the ground lost in thought.

What has she done? Upsetting the person she liked. But she was still the child of a villain. And villains don't change.

Some time later Chloe was seen walking through Ella's garden searching for said person.

"Hey. Can I talk to you about something?" Ella who was weeding looked up but turned back down pretty quick not wanting to deal with the princess after she broke the vase. "Normally, I'd talk to my mom when I have a problem, but she's far away right now. So..." Ella didn't stop weeding but looked up at Chloe.

"Say you have a friend... Well, not a friend, maybe a lover or no just, someone you know who's a bad person."

Ella stopped weeding and stood back up turning away and walking towards another bush. "And how do you know they're a bad person?"

"'Cause she says so herself." Chloe said like it's obvious but Ella stopped gardening and chuckled a bit, shaking her head. "Bad people don't think that they're bad. Trust me, I live with one."

"What if she keeps pushing you to do something bad, but she says it's for a good reason?"

Ella started weeding again and sang while looking sometimes at Chloe.
