Since the incident three days ago with an apparently creepy person being in front of our cabin, we decided to pack up and take my vacation mansion in the Alps for 4 months instead. I felt sorry for her, that someone made her feel unsafe, even though she shouldn't when I'm in a radius of 3958,8 miles.
I'll figure the situation later out, but now, I've promised Lara to drive with her to a shopping mile, since she needed to get some things.
I started my white Mustang and pressed on the air conditioning bottom to stop the windows from fogging up.
"What are you planning to get in the city?"
"Just some beauty products and maybe food for later. Maybe some clothes, souvenirs...", she rambled on, adjusting her snow-white fake fur headband, matching her jacket.I drove down the streets, covered with snow, parted by tire tracks. "Do you want to get something as well?", she builds up a conversation, turning the radio on.
"I'll just follow you around and make sure you won't do something silly."
"If you want to look for something, please tell me, I've never accompanied you."I grinned, tilting the steering wheel to the left. "Maybe we can look for shirts?"
"Yes of course!", she replied, nearly jumping out of her seat. "Why does it make you so happy?"
"I've always helped my Dad with choosing clothes when I was little.", she sounded nostalgic and a bit sad. I parked the car carefully, strifing intentionally over her hand with mine, while moving the clutch. "He can boast off in heaven now, that his daughter is an angel.", I opined, stepping out of the car, before I could see her face reacting to it.
I rushed to the other side of the car and opened the door for her. "You're still a gentleman after all.", she remarked, taking my hand with her covered with a glove and accepting me to lead her.
"Where do you want to go first?", I inquired, guiding her on the sidewalk with my hand placed on her lower back.
"I want to get some beauty products.", we went to Sephora about three corners away from here. The smell of hundreds of scents hit me at the same time and caused me to cough a little. Lara talked the whole time about how *she* gets *some* things for her, even though she must know by now, that I'll always spoil her, wanted or not.
She grabbed a shopping basket and micellar cleansing water. It's so strange to have this much knowledge about my make-up, which I didn't have one time. The only reason why I decided to learn what these products are used for, is after I played a game with Valentina, where I needed to guess what these products are used for. Long story short, I have mistaken papilots for dildos and was so embarrassed, that I bought a beauty brand to learn.
Lara sprayed a bit of perfume on her wrist and sniffed it. "Oh, that smells lovely.", I grabbed her wrist softly and smelled the seductive scent. She always smells after a mix of cherries and chocolate. I hope she knows how much I love the way she smells and occasionally sprays perfume on her ankles as well, in case I'm going on my knees for her which happens not rarely. "I agree. Divine."
She looked at the price, 260 Swiss Francs, and immediately put the fragrance back on the shelf. "Ain't buying that." Lara gyrated around and headed over to eyeshadow. I put two of the flasks in my basket and my coat over it, so she can't see, that I'll spoil her without her consent.
She picked two of the overpriced eyeshadows in grey and wine red, for smokey eyes, which she sometimes does for our date nights or work.
While she moved on to lipsticks, I stretched my arm out and let it strife every eyeshadow of this brand to make it fall into the basket.
"do you think I'm more beautiful with or without makeup?", Lara asked, straightening her fringe in the mirror.
"Cariña, don't ever ask me that question again. Your face always looks like the stars are copying it to be as beautiful as you. They are jealous because they can't sparkle as much as your pretty eyes do. With or without make-up."
Her cheeks reddened and I received that downward smile, I couldn't stop staring at. Call me a simp, I wouldn't care, I'd take it as a compliment.
"I love you, Mat."
Even though I've heard that sentence in one and a half months often, I got butterflies and they grew bigger every time instead of decreasing."I love you more."
She went to the cashier with her purchase, bought it, and got a little mad after I was the next one to purchase.
"Matteo. I think I have enough money to buy things on my own."
"Be happy, I let you pay these 43 Swiss Francs."As soon as she dragged me to the next store, I slid sneakily 50 dollars into her bag. What a foolish thought, that she needs to pay for anything when I'm with her. She's an interior architect and can easily buy some expensive things for herself. She can do everything without me, but I simply won't let her.
The next thing on our (her) bucket list was to buy me a new shirt as if I didn't have enough already. She held a dark red one against my chest. "That matches you, to be honest."
"Let me try it on.", I took my pullover off and Lara's choice on instead. I modified the collar and viewed myself in the mirror. I retied my hair in a not neatly done bun. The shirt defined my torso pretty well and was tighter on my biceps, causing it to be well-defined.
"Come in."
She slid the curtain open, scanning me slowly from head to toe in the mirror. "Yeah, whatever you're allowed to come and hit it, my back is already arched."I cracked up and rolled the hem of my shirt up.
"You think, I should buy it?"
She unbuttoned the first button of mine, placing a kiss on my collar. "Please do so."I ended up buying the shirt and five different sets of jewelry for her (of course against her will). Happy with the things we bought, it was time to go to the chalet again.
