The Beginning of Something Very Interesting

// A scream, that's what Kel heard from Hero, he was trailing behind Hero, because he was scared. He didn't know what happened, but he knew it was bad. After he heard Hero yell, Hero ran to the tree.

Kel looked up, and there she was. Her perfect skin, pale.. You couldn't see her face, it was covered in her long hair. She always has nice hair, long, black and healthy. He didn't know why she was on the tree, swinging, back and fort- "MARI, WAKE UP, PLEASE.."

He was broken out of his thoughts by Heros pleads, he didn't even realize that the others were here too. Sunny just looked...lifeless, dull, Basil looked very paranoid, crying silently, Aubrey, she looked absolutely distraught, crying and begging, just like Hero.

Everyone was crying and yet Kel wasn't, he felt sad that his friends were sad, but ultimately confused, he always felt confused when dealing with emotions, he couldn't really read to, and that lead to him being labed dumb, or ignorant. Kel didn't know what else to do, so he just went over to Hero and hugged him, and Hero hugged him back, crying into his new suit he had gotten last week. //

// After the funeral, Kel learned what Mari had done was suicide. He tried thinking on why Mari would do that, and he wanted to ask his friends, but he thought they might need space.

Hero hadn't gotten up from his bed since the funeral, so Kel had to bring his food up to him, which is what he's doing right now. Kel goes to bring dinner up to him, he tried talking to him, but he doesn't really answer, just a hum of acknowledgement.

Kel just decides to put the plate on his desk again, along with the two other plates, untouched from previous meals. Kel feels a bit sad that his friends are all isolated to themselves, but he knows they need to heal.

Kel decides he's going to try and contact them tomorrow, none of them have been at school, which Kel thinks is fine, in fact, he wished he could stay home, but his parents said his grades are bad enough as they are, so skipping was a no.

Kel feels a little jealous of Hero, but he knows he shouldn't feel that way, since Hero deserves the attention right now, Mari was the love of his life after all.//

// It's the morning now, Kel wasn't really able to sleep, he's been having nightmares lately, that his friends left him all alone, nobody cared about him anymore, of course that's not true though, can't be. Kel sits up and looks at his alarm clock, DAMMIT, he's running late.

Panic soon takes over Kel mind as he rushes to get ready, picking up a random shirt and shorts off the ground, shoving it on, and running down stairs.

His mom is in the kitchen, drinking coffee "It's about time you got up, perezoso..," She scoffs taking a sip, Kel rolls his eyes and grabs a granola bar, "Love you too, mamá," he puts on his shoes, and runs out the door, grabbing his bag in the process.
