Aastha was sleeping on the couch, Anurag assigned some important work to Rohit and he was sitting near Aastha's legs.

Around 7 PM Aastha woke up and saw Anurag sitting near her legs working on her phone 

Aastha:(in her sleepy voice)I'm so sorry I didn't realize when sleep took over me 

Anurag: It's okay. How are you feeling now?

Aastha: better (she said with a small smile)

Anurag: It's 7 PM at what time do you return home regularly?

Aastha: Around 8-8:30 

Anurag: oh okay 

He took a paper bag in his hand 

Anurag: umm...I brought a pair of clothes for you 

Aastha: huh?

Anurag: Yeah you can't go home wearing my clothes (he said replying scratching his neck)

Aastha: Oh yeah Thank You

She accepted the bag and both sat there and didn't say anything....

Aastha broke the silence

Aastha: Where should I change it?

Anurag: You can use my room 

Aastha: Okay

Aastha went towards Anurag's room. Anurag made a call 

Anurag: Has the work promised been done?

Rohit: Yes Sir!! We are waiting for your further orders

Anurag: I'll be there at 11 PM keep every piece of equipment ready *he said with a smirk*

Rohit: Sir everything will be ready by the time of your arrival

In Anurag's room:

Aastha was standing at the door...room was all dark she was finding the light switch

Aastha: How weird it is the room doesn't have a lights switch also!!!

Voice: Lights on

She heard a voice from behind She was startled for some seconds.

Aastha: You scared me, Anurag

Anurag: Sorry if I startled you, but the lights turn on whenever I command them to.

Aastha: Oh 

Aastha saw lights turned on and the room was looking beautiful in its minimalist look...The room was black with floor lengthy glass windows and golden light was adorning the room 

Anurag: change your clothes in the room itself I'll wait for you outside

Aastha: okay 

Aastha went inside the room, and Anurag stood waiting in front of his room. He was lost in thoughts of the previous night: Aastha wailing in his arms, unwilling to let go of the hug as she recounted her trauma, waking up with a panic attack, and finally, spilling out everything over coffee that morning.

While recalling this he has mild tears in his eyes. For the first time in his life after his parents left he had moist eyes.

Anurag (in his mind): I won't let any more tears fall from your eyes, Aastha. I promise to stand by your side in every situation.
