The next Morning after Aastha's tipsy confession,

The house was tranquil, Aastha woke up with a groan, her head heavy with the aftermath of the night before. As she sat up, the memories of her confrontation with Anurag and her brothers about social media trolls, and the scattered events at the bar, came rushing back in flashes.

She remembered Anurag holding her, his presence like a steady anchor, but the details were hazy.

Aastha pulled herself out of bed, feeling a strange knot in her stomach as if something significant had happened, but she couldn't put her finger on it.

Aastha saw herself in the mirror, her hair was a little scattered, and she was still in her thigh-slit bodycon dress. She rubbed her hands on her face and groaned out of frustration.

Aastha (panic and guilty): Fuck, Aastha. You messed up everything. You were so high on drinks yesterday night that you don't remember anything and what kind of dress you wore. What will everyone think about you?

Aastha got ready with a beautiful yet simple navy blue kurti and pink ankle pants.

Downstairs, she found him on the breakfast table having his coffee while reading something on his phone, his uncle and aunt having their breakfast, Karishma casually playing with her food, and Jasleen and Rupal feeding her in brief intervals.

The sunlight streaming through the window lit his face, making his relaxed smile seem even more dazzling. He looked up as she entered, his eyes softening with a warmth that instantly made her heart flutter.

"Good morning, sleepyhead," he greeted her, his tone playful, but there was a trace of something deeper underneath—like he was holding onto a secret.

"Morning..." Aastha mumbled, her voice was filled with guilt. "Fire, I'm so sorry for whatever happened last night. Everyone, I'm really sorry...I-"

Before she could speak further Karishma gasped holding her belly which made everyone concerned.

Aastha (concerned): What's wrong, beta? Are you okay?

Karishma: Tai, please don't say sorry. Baby don't like their bua saying sorry to anyone.

Everyone smiles. Aastha knelt in front of Karishma and kissed her baby bump, baby kicked in response.

Karishma (excited): See they know their bua and love her.

Aastha settled down beside Anurag's chair, Esha had a glass of lemonade in her hand for Aastha.

Esha (smiles): Good Morning, Didi.

Aastha: Good morning Esha.

Anurag noticed she didn't wear her sling bag.

Anurag: Why didn't you wear your sling bag?

Aastha: I'm okay now and because of that I'm not able to check my patients properly. Bhawin is still learning so I thought to remove it.

Anurag got irritated on hearing Bhawin's name.

Anurag (a little irritated): Why did you appoint him as your PA?
