Racing through the Silken Caves' tunnel, adrenaline surging within you, your wires flow behind you. Time ticked, and ticked, and ticked... Overlapping voices, variant to your own accent, drowns out the singular voice that tried to guide you.

'Turn back, this isn't safe,' said a dramatic voice.

A calm reassuring voice, says, 'If you go back there will light to see after.'

'Yeah, yeah, c'mon man. Where's that thinking brain of yours,' said a casual voice.

A playful voice says, 'What about the times he got us...'

'You fool... we do not speak of that,' said the harsh voice.

All the voices, their words scrambled over each other.

'You fool.'   'Don't say it out loud.'   'Why aren't you listening?!'   'We're trying to help you.'   'He doesn't remember.'   'Remember what?'   'He doesn't know yet... It won't let him.'    'It... isn't causing that, it's something else.'    'No.'   'He can't fight properly.'   'You keep getting yourself hurt!'   'He just forgot how to fight, like the old days.'   'I thought he trained to learn how to fight again?'   'He knows how to fight, but he's just acting stupid!'   'You're not thinking this through.'   'Didn't that gal tried to kill you?'

The final voice, younger than the rest.

'Why are you going to save her?... Is she a good person to our friends, will she help you too?'

The voices rumbled in your head before fading when you persisted onward. Ahead of you, gleaming blue eyes appear in the darkness. You continue to rush forward, activating your phasing ability. The mayor steps out, as you are getting closer.

"Move aside, gramps! I don't want to fight you again!" You shouted, about to run through him. He executes a reverse air kick, forcing you to skid backwards, leaving you staring at him stunned.

The mayor tilts his head. "It's a very foolish choice to be here... Turn back and you will not meet your demise." He said, smirking. "Or perhaps you would like to meet it in the hands of my lady. No matter, she won't have to waste her time once I finish you."

He floats in the air, bolting towards you. Your wires blocked his kicks, you stumble back as he continued to do air kicks. Suddenly he twisted to throw a downward punch on your unprotected head, letting him strike you down into the ground.

'Why would you let him do that,' said the harsh voice.

The mayor delivered a kick to your side, sending you further back from your destination. "Why would you want to save someone you know nothing about?" He questioned, advancing towards you with a series of flying kicks. "Spider Queen has spread terror among the mortal realm throughout her entire lifetime. She has no concern for anyone as insignificant as you, child."

You parried the kicks using the wires, then countered with your arms as he found an opening. "I'm aware of what she did... her impact on the city. Despite that, and anything before that, she has the potential to change. Anyone does." You declared. "And I'm not a child." Your wires torn several pipes off the tunnel's ceiling and walls, swinging them at the mayor, who dodged the attacks.

'That's not the only reason...,' said the harsh voice. 'I really hate you for this.'

The pipes hit the wall, discharging debris throughout the tunnel. The mayor flew at you swiftly, launching his foot at your head. As your wires shot out towards his leg as he swerves between them, attempting another kick. The wires finally caught his leg, flinging him onward to your destination, letting you proceed a little.
