"1, 2, 3, and turn," a woman said as she clapped her hand with a beat, "1, 2, 3, and slow."

Alison StoneWall, the only daughter of a Count from the countryside, debuted in High Society at twelve. Since then, she has established numerous connections among the ladies of High Society. Her resume was nothing short of praise. Even her instructions were easy to follow.

"Again but step softly with you get to this part," she instructed me.

I nodded. I sidestep softly before making a swift turn following the beat of the music. The dancing was fun. I thought dancing here would be different, but it was just a waltz dance. Performing a familiar dance made me feel good inside. I knew what I was doing, and what I could improve on. It also made me feel a sense of belonging as though I can vaguely recall those misty memories of mine hidden behind that thick veil. I danced until the music stopped. I didn't even feel tired even though sweats were pouring out from the side of my forehead.

Alison applauds warmly and remarks with a smile, "Excellently done, Duchess Sigma. It has been just three days since our first lesson, and your progress is remarkable."

"Thank you," I respond with a smile of my own, "I couldn't have done this without your instruction. Thank you, Miss StoneWall."

I was surprised by Alison's kindness. Given my background as the daughter of the Spheral House, I had anticipated that she might look down on me, however, when she saw me, it was as if she had encountered a long-lost friend. I had to call out to her several times before she finally responded in her shocked state.

Without hesitation, Alison immediately set to work. She provided me with history books regarding the Nova Kingdom to ensure I had a solid foundation of its history. She meticulously demonstrated table etiquette, including the proper use of utensils and dining behavior. Alison also taught me the royal greetings, guiding me through the correct forms of address and protocols. Furthermore, she instructed me in the art of dance of what movements and poise were required for formal events. To top it all off, she worked with me to refine my speech patterns, offering invaluable advice on how to address individuals of varying ranks and those of higher status.

In three days, I learned the history of the Nova Kingdom that wasn't mentioned in the novel. For three days, I learned how to eat like astronauts. After three days, I could dance and talk like a noble. If Alison wasn't the daughter of the Count from the Country Side and taken part of the high society circle, I believe she would make it very far if not to the very top next to the Queen of the Nova Kingdom. Every action she took was graceful and elegant. There wasn't a single wasted movement.

I lost track of time until I glanced out the window and noticed it was no longer morning but afternoon. Alison had only stayed to tutor me until noon. When the clock struck twelve, she would depart for the day but not before assigning homework for me to do. However, before she left this time, I invited her out for lunch. It was the least I could do as a way to thank her for teaching me. At first, Alison refused, but she pondered for a bit and then agreed.

I asked Viola to arrange lunch in the Green House, hoping Alison would appreciate the blooming flowers. Viola briefly glanced at Alison before nodding in acknowledgment. As Viola left to complete her task, I conversed with Alison on our way to the Green House. When we arrived, the maids and butlers had already finished preparation. The round glass table was adorned with an array of foods and refreshments.

The butler standing close to Alison graciously pulled out her chair, while I took my seat without assistance. Noticing this, Alison glanced at the staff members, who kept their heads bowed and low. I remained unaware of her expression as I poured myself a cup of tea and took a sip. As always, it was warm and delicious. I gesture at Alison, "I hope the food is to your liking."
