AMELIA

The next morning, Mason and I took a hired ride to the temple, it was about thirty minutes, enough time to gather my thoughts. Thoughts I had bottled up for a while. Taking a sneak peek at Mason, I see him going through his iPad with that little crease  on his brows. He gets those when he is frustrated or having a laser focus on a project, looking at his side profile unknowingly got me smiling  as I remember how he comforted and stayed almost awake throughout the night to make sure nothing unusual happens again.

"Like what you see?"

Mason asked with a little smile but eyes still glued to the screen of the device on his hand.

"ummm....I wasn't looking"

before I could continue with my defense, the car stopped in front of  an old but beautiful looking temple. Looking around I notice the serenity of the place, quiet and calm with nature buzzing all around.

"wow, so beautiful"

"come on lets go inside, Finn wait here and don't let anyone interrupt."

"............."

"yes your highness"

Walking behind Mason with jelly like legs, I could barely take in my surroundings as I was beyond anxious.

"Are you okay?"

Mason asked without even turning towards my direction, walking  in a controlled speed in order to prevent me from running after him.

"Yes, just a little anxious, a little scared, a little excited, a little everything at this point, ha ha ha"

Okay that laugh wasn't really necessary, why can't I just be cool and calm in situations like this.

"Namaste"

Hearing the calm but clear voice I raise my head to see the pandit smiling from the inside of the dimly lit room, entering the room behind Mason I offered a half bow with my hands clasped together like in prayer, just like Mason did. Raising my face I gave a half , wobbly smile but couldn't stop the gasp from coming out of my mouth as I notice his eyes were pearly white with not a colored pupil to be seen. Didn't he just smiled and greeted us directly?

"Namaste"

"Don't be scared child, have a seat"

Despite the eyes situation, I felt calm in his presence and somewhat peaceful to the state of almost sleepy.

"Permit me child"

Before I could comprehend what was happening around me, I saw him standing in front of me about to touch my forehead , when did he get in front of me so fast? Not giving me enough time to even have the thought I felt so light like I was floating, and then it was all white, so white that it affected my hearing .
