Chap 40!

|FLASHBACK|

"Zohaib u ever wondered where these stars come from?", Eun Byul asked.
"Yes my love when the gas and dust...", Zohaib was saying but Eun Byul hit his chest lightly and said,
"Yaah I know that as well I was hoping for a romantic answer!", Eun Byul said to which Zohaib bursted into laughter.
"Okie okie ask something again!", he said happily.
"Isn't the moon so beautiful?", Eun Byul said.
They both were lying on the grass in the park.
"Yes it is!", Zohaib said as he faced Eun Byul. She started blushing then Zohaib said,
"That thing hanging on the sky is just a bloated watermelon.", he said pointing at the moon and Eun Byul bursted into laughter.
"Yaaah u always ruin romantic moments.", she said while laughing.
Zohaib also laughed and started tickling Eun Byul.

"I love u Eun Byul. Never leave me!", Zohaib said as he laid down beside her facing her.
"Never!", she said while caressing his cheek. They both looked into eachothers eyes then joined their foreheads and closed their eyes.

It has was Sunday and Jungkook just came back from the market after buying his registers and small gifts for Hassan, Rija and Ms. Hania.
As from tomorrow the university would start again.
As he entered the house he saw the three of them standing in the lounge with their suitcases Infront of them. Jungkook got confused. Hassan was on call then when he ended it Jungkook asked,
"What's happening here?"
"Yaah bro appa is back we will head back now!", Hassan said.
All of a sudden Jungkook's heart started sinking. The smile on his face faded.
They all sensed his saddened behavior so Hassan went to him and hugged him saying,
"Hey bro don't be sad we will meet eachother often. I really wanna thank u so much. When my own brothers became a problem for me u were there for me and actually proved that a friend in need is a friend indeed. I don't know how will I ever repay u!".
Jungkook's eyes filled with tears but he tried his best to control them.
They both moved back and Jungkook said,
"No need to thank me okie, my house is always open for u all if ever u need me again just come in without asking okie. I will miss u all. Eomma!", he said and went to Ms. Hania. She caressed her head gently and said,
"I always asked Allah why he never gave me my own son, but u and Hassan proved that my own son wouldn't have been there for me like the way u both always have. U both r really precious to me.".
He smiled and said,
"We both r ur sons so don't bring this thought ever again that why don't u have ur own sons!", Jungkook said then looked at Rija.
His heartbeat started rising with a shoot. For some reason he didn't want her to go away from her.
He then went to the bags he just brought and took out the things.
"I was buying things for my uni when these things caught my attention and I decided to buy it for u all.", Jungkook said but Hassan tried to stop him.
"Yaah Hassan I will beat u Infront of ur mother and sister if u dare to stop me, then don't u complain.", Jungkook said and they all laughed.
First he gave a watch to Hassan, then a necklace to Ms. Hania. Then he slowly walked towards Rija.
He forwarded a small rectangular box to her.
"I bought this for u.", he said lowering his gaze.
Rija's hands started shaking as her heart was beating at an unusual pace.
She looked at Hassan who smiled and nodded. She hesitatingly took it from his hands and thanked him.

Then Jungkook met them for the last time and they all left. All of a sudden the house felt silent and quite. He entered in his room and saw the whole room. His eyes filled with tears coz the room that was once filled with voices of laughter and noise turned silent.
He looked around when the corner of his eye fell on the cloth at the back side of couch. He went to it and grabbed it. It was Rija's black hijab. He brought it near to his face and closed his eyes then he sniffed it and got lost in it as the scent of it calmed his nerves. He never got the idea of the type of fragnance Rija used as it was so light that he never smelled it.
He moved it back and smiled at it then kept it close to his heart.
