Chap 43!

Ms. Yasmeen was washing the dishes where as the girls were at uni becoz their final exams started. She heard the bell rang and wondered who it could be at this hour. As she went to the door and opened it her heart sank, it was Mr. Zohaib standing in front of her, weaker than before.
Her heart started trembling when they both made an eye contact. She saw him after 4 and ½ whole months.
"Zo.....Zohaib!", she said and tried to close the door but Mr. Zohaib quickly put his hand in between and tried to stop her,
"Listen to me Yasmeen, just once my love plz.", he said in broken voice.
Somehow he came inside but Ms. Yasmeen wasn't looking at him at any cost.
"Go away, when girls will arrive then come. I don't want to talk to u alone, go.", she said as tears were rolling down her eyes.
"I want to talk to u alone, plz have mercy on me. I haven't been the same as I was with u. I am ruined Yasmeen my peace is lost I beg u listen to me once.", Mr. Zohaib said as he fell in Ms. Yasmeen's feet.
"Listen to what Zohaib, if u really loved her then why u married me, why u ruined her life, didn't u have mercy when u were leaving Ibrahim alone? I feel I bore the consequences of what u did. My Junaid died in my hands as a punishment of ur sins. U abandoned ur son so Allah took away Junaid from us. I lost my son becoz of u Zohaib and u r saying I should listen to u?"
"Yasmeen I know I did wrong. It's true I loved Eun Byul alot but that was when I was really young and immature. When I first met u I realized that the feelings that I had for Eun Byul were just timely attraction. I actually fell in love with u. Ur innocence, ur piousness, ur simplicity and ur personality. I fell so deeply in love with u that I hid my past from u as I didn't wanna lose u. Yasmeen trust me one last time. The moment we came into eachothers nikah I never imagined any woman with me becoz it was only u whom I wanted to be with me.", Mr. Zohaib said as he was crying loudly. Ms. Yasmeen was also a crying mess then she spoke,
"U know Zohaib Allah made a woman so strong that she can face any situation without complaining about a single thing, she has been made so kind that she can forgive anyone, she has been made so powerful that she can face the whole world alone. But when it comes to the man she loves the most she turns selfish, she wants him to be only hers no matter what happens. But when that same man becomes the reason of breaking her trust she shatters. My hardwork of our 22 years of marriage was a waste right, u literally returned my efforts with a slap on my face. It might not have been that hurtful for me to know u already had a past in the beginning of our marriage the way it hurts now. I am not strong Zohaib I am not strong to handle this pain. Whenever I see u I feel I have been made a fool of my whole life and just wasted it. I kept myself reserved for u my entire youth. I never let any man come near me becoz I said that only my spouse will have a right to be close to me but what did u do Zohaib. U cheated on me. I...I can't live with a cheater.", Ms Yasmeen cried her heart out. Mr. Zohaib quickly stood up and wiped his tears then he spoke,
Wh..what do u mean b..by that!".
"I have selected Junaid for Ayesha. I just wanted u to return so that u can also approve him. Then we shall do their nikah preparations and after that I....", Ms Yasmeen said with heavy heart.
"U what?", Mr. Zohaib asked while trembling.
"I will take divorce from u!", she said and that was when Mr. Zohaib stumbled on his feet. He saw his whole world collapsing Infront of his eyes.
He managed to stand straight somehow and then spoke,
"U...u can't do that to me Yasmeen. I will die without u. I...I can't live without u Yasmeen. Ya...Yasmeen plz plz don't so this...I WILL DIE WITHOUT U. I BEG U...", he cried and held her both feet,
"...I WILL DO ANYTHING, ANYTHING U SAY BUT PLZ DON'T LEAVE ME. YASMEEN I CANT BREATHE WITHOUT U PLZ DONT DO THIS WITH ME!", Mr. Zohaib begged her.
Ms. Yasmeen was also crying silently but she moved back and said,
"It's too late Zohaib it's too late.", with that she left in her room and locked it. Mr. Zohaib started crying and screaming that Ms Yasmeen easily heard from inside. She also cried her heart out.
Mr. Zohaib quickly ran downstairs and headed straight to Ms. Eun Byul's house as he knew she never left that place.

After half an hour he reached there and headed straight to her apartment.
Ms. Eun Byul just cleaned the kitchen and was about to go in her room to take rest when she heard loud bangs on the door. She furrowed her eyebrows and spoke to herself,
"Ibrahim's paper will end after 2 hours. Who can it be at this hour?", she said and headed towards the door. When she opened it her eyes widened to see Mr. Zohaib in front of her. She moved back and Mr. Zohaib entered then fell in her feet and started crying and spoke,
"Eun Byul.....Eun Byul plz save my house....Yasmeen wants divorce from me...plz I beg u.....I can't live without her Eun Byul.....I will die without her....", she also started crying because she remembered how once she was in this position and begging him not to leave her.
"Why r u here Zohaib. I have nothing to do with u now. U ruined my life already and didn't have mercy on me and now when the same thing is happening with u, u came back and are asking for my help.", Ms. Eun Byul said as she wiped her tears.
"I did wrong, I know I did so wrong with u. Kill me once but plz tell Yasmeen to not leave me I can't live without her!", he sobbed loudly as he was saying. Ms Eun Byul's mouth left a chuckle in pain then she spoke,
"Even right now u care about urself. Even now it doesn't matter to u how much pain I endured Zohaib. I was a fool that I wasted my whole life just waiting for u thinking u will come again.",
Mr. Zohaib stood up and wiped his tears then he spoke in broken voice,
"Give me any punishment, I am ready and bear it happily."
"The punishment that ur God gave u is more than enough. U know Ibrahim always tells me that when Allah blesses a person and showers his mercy no one can compare it but in the same way when Allah plans to make a soul suffer no one can save it. That punishment is incomparable. This is ur karma Zohaib. U broke hearts of enough souls. Now it's ur time. Plz leave I don't want to see ur face.", she said and signalled him to leave.
