"Ya, I will call you later" Nikhil cut the call and sighted looking at Snajana who was still asleep
It's been more than one day since she was still asleep, he didn't know what to do, The doctor said they can't wake her up forcefully and he had to wait
"It's been 1 day, 3 hours, 45 minutes and don't ask me about the seconds my heart still beats faster in the hope of you opening your eyes, even Nisha recovered but you are not giving any sign" he said feeling falling into the pit every second he looked at her closed eyes
He had not left her side even for a minute, not even for a second, she was sleeping for so many hours and in that only 2 hours he had slept beside her
He got frustrated when he got another call, he picked call sitting in his chair and attending the business call
Sanjana's hands moved first, she felt the needle in her hands pricking her, she opened her eyes slowly and blinked getting adjusted to the bed light, it was night time
She looked around trying to get where she was, she looked at Nikhil who was talking on the phone looking the other side
She opened her mouth but the dry throat made her shut her mouth, she gulped heard feeling medicine taste in her mouth
"Nik?" She said and Nikhil turned casually but then froze, she made weird faces feeling weak, as if her brain stopped working
He kept looking at her still she looked back and raised her eyebrows, he got up all of a sudden and she flinched looking at him, she blinked looking at tears in his eyes, he hugged her out of nowhere hiding his face in her neck, his hands wrapped around her while she didn't know what was happening
"Cr-crying?" She didn't had strength to complete the whole sentance so she just said only a word, he shook his head and she sighted
She closed her eyes and recalled everything that happened, from the program day to jumping in the fire and getting unconscious in his arms
"Nik, you are heavy" she said and sighted when he pulled back "kyu nai bataya tume dehydration ki problem thi?" He blasted on her and she blinked when he stood a bit far that she couldn't see him
"Pehle chashma dho Mera" she said and he huffed giving her the specs and she looked at him "muje laga dehydration ka problem chala gaya tah"
"Jab tum itni careless ho toh kidar sa jaega!" He said and she looked at him "I just now got up, don't blast on me like that"
"I will call the doctor, we will talk after that" he went and came the doctor, she checked up on her and asked her few questions, that's when she got to know she slept for 27 hours straight
After the doctor went they both kept glaring at each other till Nikhil decided to speak
"How do you feel?" She looked at him lazily "ab yaad aaya ya question?" He rolled his eyes
