(Mia's POV)
I stare at her in disbelief for a second before snapping out of it.
"What?" I ask, making sure I heard her correctly.
"Never" She edges closer. "Say" Our noses touch. "Never" She puts her hand on my cheek and looks into my eyes.
"Can I kiss you?" She asks.
"God, yes" I breathe.
She moves in and kisses me gently and I kiss her back . A few moments pass before she pulls away and looks into my eyes, the kiss was short but it was everything I had hoped for and it ignited my entire body. She moved away from me before laying back down and opening her hand, I take it in mine and lay next to her, smiling softly.
We lay there in silence for a while until Char's phone starts ringing. She looks at it and picks it up.
"It's Reece, I'll be right back" She says.
She stands up and walks out of the room, giving me a sorry look before she closes the door.

(Char's POV)
"Hey Reece, what's up?" I say.
"Hey Char, you didn't turn up for work so I was just checking on you" He replies.
Shit. I had completely forgotten about work.
"I completely forgot, I'm so sorry, I'll be over there in 20 minutes." I tell him before hanging up.
I rush back to Mia's room.
"Mia, I forgot about work, we have to go now, I told Reece I'd be there in 20 minutes." I say, panicked.
"Okay, sweetheart, I can't let you wear the same clothes as yesterday though, borrow something from my wardrobe." She says, getting up.
I nod and open her wardrobe, I pick out some shorts and a t-shirt and run to the bathroom to change. I come back into her bedroom and as she turns around to look at me her jaw drops.
"What? Does it look bad?" I question nervously.
"No, it looks amazing, you in those little high waisted shorts is never going to leave my mind now." She smirks at me before moving closer.
"Can I kiss you this time?" She asks.
"Yes" I say.
She leans in and kisses me gently, making my stomach erupt with butterflies. As we pull away she looks me up and down.
"You're so beautiful." She says.
I blush slightly.
"Thank you, now lets get going, I need to be at the nursery in 10 minutes" I say, grabbing my bag and my phone off of her bed.
We get into her car and she speeds off towards the nursery, narrowly avoiding getting a ticket as she flies down the roads.
We get to the nursery and we sit there for a second before Mia breaks the silence.
"I leave town again tomorrow and I know that if I didn't ask you this I'd kick myself, so Char, would you like to come for dinner with me tonight and stay over again?" She asks.
"Oh Mia, I'd love to" I reply.
She smiles at me and I lean over the console to kiss her, she leans in and kisses me and we forget the world around us for a moment as we kiss each other deeply. She pulls away and smiles at me.
"You better go, sweetheart but I'll pick you up after your shift." She says.
"Okay, I'll see you later" I say opening the door and stepping outside.
I close the door and head into the nursery, hearing her tyres squeal as she pulls out of the car park. I head to the office to see Reece so that I can apologise for being late.
"Hey, Reece, I'm so sorry I'm late, I was.." I start before he cuts me off.
"With Mia?" He asks, smirking at me.
"Well, yes" I say, tucking my hair behind my ear.
"It's okay, Char, don't worry about it, you're in the baby room" He chuckles.
"Okay, bye Reece" I say.
"Bye" He replies.
I walk towards the staff room and drop my stuff in there before heading to the baby room. Once I'm in the baby room I get on with my day, but I can't seem to stop thinking about Mia and our kisses.
Today was going to be a long day.
