It was 7 o'clock in the morning on January 1st, 2398, and the Alpha Echo Team were getting up and getting ready for another day of rescuing people. They were halfway through their breakfast when suddenly the headquarters alarm sounded. This could only mean one thing... The first call of the day was in.
The team dropped what they were doing and rushed to the locker room and got into their uniform as the HQ's computer read out the call.
"Two story house on fire. Address Seven Nine Mango Avenue."
"Team we'll take the Firefighting Bearcats. Let's move it." Said Arthur
The team then grabbed their suit modules and equipped them whilst running to their vehicles.
They hopped into their bearcats, flipped on the lights, started the sirens and raced out of the HQ to the call. As they were racing to the scene they got an update about the call. There was one person trapped inside. A child.
"Shit." Muttered Evan
The team then put their feet to the floor and started hauling down the roads at breakneck speeds. Putting the bearcats to their limits.
They arrived on scene and raced to get supply and attack hoses set up. After that, a ladder was set up next to the child's room's window ready to evacuate them. As soon as everything was set up Arthur clambered up the ladder whilst the rest of the team raced into the building, hoses in hand.
As Arthur reaches the top of the ladder they smash the window. Shards of glass go flying. Arthur clambers over the windowsill and into the room. They activate their torch and start to look around for the child. They find him. The child isn't conscious. Arthur asks for the ETA of the ambulance over the radio as they haul the child over their shoulder and start to climb down the ladder.
After a few minutes the fire is put out and the ambulance arrives on scene. Arthur rushes the, now conscious, child to the ambulance and the paramedics rush him off to hospital.
After that, the team starts to pack away all their equipment and tidy up the scene. After everything is packed away they start to head on back to the Alpha Echo Headquarters.
When they arrive back they wash all the bearcats and equipment off and park them back up. The team then walks to the locker room, takes off their uniform and suit module. They then go back to the mess hall to finish their breakfast.
