After the house fire, it was pretty quiet up until about 4 o'clock in the afternoon when the alarm sounded once again. The team all dropped what they were doing and ran straight to the lockers and got into uniform while the call was read allowed by the HQ's computer.
"Pursuit currently going on after a crimson pick up on Mango Lane requesting Alpha Echo assistance."
"Move it units. We have a pursuit." Yelled Arthur
They all raced out of the HQ, ready to stop this car dead in its tracks. They got a live update to their bearcats of where the pick up was, and they managed to make a roadblock ahead with their bearcats blocking parked up to block the road and pavement so that there was no escape for the criminal.
The driver didn't realise that the Alpha Echo Team had set up a roadblock until it was too late.
As the car approached, Arthur said to the team, "Keep a clear line of fire on the driver at all times."
Then suddenly...
BANG
The car tires had burst on the spike strip.
"You are surrounded. Get out of the car with your hands in the air NOW." Arthur yelled over the P.A. system
The criminal did as he was told and got out of the car with his hands raised. He was then arrested and taken to prison by the police officers who were chasing him. He was charged with resisting arrest and reckless driving.
"Get the spikes away and return to the HQ." Said Arthur
When they got back to the HQ, the team parked the bearcats in the garage and got out of uniform.
They then went and got on with what they were doing while the task of handling the incident report got put on Arthur.
