Autumn needs you.

Winter had been home all morning with food poisoning, to be fair Autumn probably should have been home too but she wanted to go in and help fight Jodie's case. Winter didn't think it would be the worse thing in the world for Jodie to be fired but definitely not like this.

About half an hour after Autumn had left he got a message from Marjorie.

Autumn needs you.

He threw on the first pair of shoes he saw and ran out the door grabbing he's car keys as he did, he had never driven faster anywhere.

He made it to the nursery in under five minutes and ran in trying not to throw up as he did. He ran through the hallways until he ran into Sorscha.

"I got a message that Autumn needed me, where is my love, where is my sweet?"

"She's outside turning her Dad's car into scrap"

"That's my girl, I'm coming darling, I'm coming."

Winter ran to the main doors to find Roger clinging onto he's jaw and Reece standing next to their Father watching Autumn absolutely obliterating their Father's car with her bat. Winter stood back and watched as Autumn took her anger out on her Father's car.

Once she was finished, Autumn stepped back dropping her bat as she did and just stared at what she had just done. She'd smashed in all the window and completely wrecked the car, the hazard lights would no longer work. There was no way Roger was ever driving that car home again.

Autumn turned around to face her Father when she realized Winter was standing behind him.  She ran up to him and threw herself into his arms hiding her head in his chest. Winter held her there whilst she cried into his chest.

"Shh Shh, it's okay, you're safe I've got you." Winter held Autumn close stroke her hair. "It was him, he planned it all, everything that happened was because of him." Autumn said through tears. "What happened?" Autumn stayed silent letting her tears run into Winters chest. "How about we go home, my love." Autumn nodded and Winter led her to her covering her face so no one could see her crying. "Are you sure your be okay driving home?" Winter asked pushing her hair behind her ears "I'll be fine." She said getting into her car. Winter ran to his car and left, leaving Roger looking at his car in absolute horror and Marjorie running out into the car park with an ice pack for Reece's hand.

Winter park his car up first, Autumn shortly followed. They both got out of their cars and walked into the house, taking off their shoes as they entered.

"I'm just going to go get out of this" Autumn said, not sounding like her at all. She sounded so broken. Winter watched as Autumn made her way upstairs and to their bedroom. Winter knew better then to go on about what had happened. But this wasn't nothing. She'd had just completely smashed up her Father's car. He went and made Autumn and himself a drink whilst she was getting changed and put them on the kitchen island.

After a while Autumn still hadn't come downstairs. He went up to go check on her and bring the drink up to her. 

When he entered their bedroom he found Autumn sitting on the end of the staring at her arm. When he walked further in he could see what she was staring at on her arm.

There were a few cuts still bleeding on her arm. Winter put the glass down on the side and went and sat next to her trying to startle her.

"My love what happened? Is it from were you smashed up the car?" Winter asked looking at the cuts on her arm trying to figure out where they could of possibly come from. Autumn looked up at him before looking back down at her arm.

"I'm sorry."

Sorry for what my darling?" Autumn had been holding something in her left hand this whole time but Winter hadn't noticed being more concerned with her arm. She put what she was holding in Winters hand.

Winter looked down at what she had just placed in his hand. It was a blade.

He sat still for a few seconds trying to figure out what had just happened.

"Did you do that to yourself?" He asked,his eyeline not moving from the blade in his hand. "I'm sorry." She said again this time tears welling up in her eyes. He put the blade to one side and held her as she cried, resting her head on his shoulder.

They sat like that for a bit before Winter got up to go get some wipes and plasters. Autumn started into space as he cleaned her cuts, trying to mask the pain she felt as he cleaned them with the wipes.

"What happened today, my love?" Winter asked putting the last plaster on Autumn arm. She stayed quiet, still starting into space. "My darling, please tell me, you can't keep bottling things up like this." Winter said looking at his love who was completely dissociated.

They sat in silence for a bit until Autumn put her head on his shoulder again. "He arranged prom night." Autumn said through tears. "He didn't want me and Reece being so close so he arranged it so we would fall out." Winter held Autumn close to him, he was so angry at Roger. The two people he was meant to protect, he'd let down time and time again. "And what about that, how long have you been doing that?" Autumn pulled away bring her arm to wrap around her stomach. She didn't respond, so Winter asked another question. "Have you done it since we've been together?" She turned to look at him. Her eyes glossy. She nodded.

Winter heart broke in that second. How could she be doing that to herself and he didn't notice. He was mad at himself for not noticing what was happening right underneath his nose. That's when Autumn started sobbing. He had to keep it together, for her. He could be angry later.

He held her whilst she sobbed into his arms giving her a kiss on the forehead and whispering in her ear. "Your okay, your safe. Nothing going to hurt you." Until she calmed down.

Finally Autumn got up and wiped her eyes. She got changed out her work clothes and put on one of Winters hoodies. She did this when she want to feel that much closer to him. The couple went downstairs, sat on the sofa and turned on their favourite movie and ordered food in.

They sat in silence in front of the TV until Winter asked. "Why didn't you tell me before?" Autumn looked up at him. "I don't know, I was scared you wouldn't want me if you knew." Winter grabbed her hand." Nothing on this earth could ever stop me from wanting you, you are the love of my life." Autumn nodded, tears slowly poured out her eyes. Winter wipes the away and held her close for the rest of the evening. His love was all he cared about. He was going to protect her from everything out there that wanted to hurt her.
