I awoke to the struggle of two what looked like men. My throat burned with what I guessed was cholorphorm. "Where am I?!" I screamed. There was woods everywhere I turned. Uneven rows of trees, one after another, like shadows of the now setting sun. One of the men looked startled as he turned to look at me. "You said this human stuff would last!"he whispered to his accomplice, hitting him in the back of the head. "S..sorry boss." the accomplice said in a very shy mannor, not nearly as confident as he was when they obducted me. The more they both talked, the more American they sounded, "You are coming with me fae. Lucian will be very happy to see your kind off the streets of the human world, ha even the world in general!" He had the same snicker Aunt Viviana had when she was about to hit me. "Fae!?! What are you talking about?! I don't even know what a bloody fae is! Let me go!" I bickered, trying to make them realize they had the wrong girl. "I think we got the w..wrong g...gurl boss." the accomplice said. "nonsense! Drug her again, we gotta get her through the portal. Lucian will be proud." the man, whom I now suppose is the leader, said. Who's Lucian?!!!!
The accomplice came closer to me and I got a glimpse of his face. He was big, not in a way of weight, but in a braud terrifying way. He had a scar that covered the outside of his throat that caused me to wonder who these people really were. His eyes were different colors to my surprise. One was almost a translucent white and the other was a pale orange.Wait. did I see that right... orange?!
The orange eyed accomplice started to grab something out of his back pocket, dabbing it on the cloth he somehow already had out. Bloody God, what are they planning on doing with me?! Are these people crazy?! I started to squirm, making it hard for him to put the cloth to my face. And within that moment, between the small intervals of being drugged and picked up, I seen the same white light I had seen the day my parents died.
"No!" I thought .... "no..." then every thought everything went black once again and I knew then that I was in serious trouble.
