Bash and I have been walking for what seems like ages. "When you said long "long journey" what exactly did you mean Bash? We've been walking for ages." Sabashtin looked over at me, eyes joyful. "Don't worry our rest point is just ahead." He smiles. a few moments of silence passed then Bash finally asked , " I still haven't gotten your name." He laughed, dimples appearing in his cheeks.
"Ryder." I said returning the contagious laughter. "My name is Ryder Pierce." His smile grew. "That's a very suited name," he said, " Rare my dear, but suited." His continued laughter made butterflies appear in my stomach.
We continued to walk for another moment, then stopped, arriving at what I think might be our destination. It looked surprisingly familiar, with cascading vines and lilies over lapping the hand-constructed bricks. There was A tall chimney that reached up towards the sky, begging to be used, to be seen. The door was a think wood, that rounded at the top, giving a hard crack as Sabashtin knocked on it. The door swung open slowly to an older woman that had the brightest smile I had ever seen plastered across her wrinkled face.
"Come in. Come in dears." The old woman said, shutting the door behind us. She was about to my shoulder in height, a rather petite woman, with a slight hunch. She was wearing silver and pale green clothes that hung from her elegantly, making her seem a few years younger. "I was wondering when your father would send you on another mission Sabashtin Bane. I was beginning to think you had forgotten about me." She snickered, but it was easy to tell that she cared about Bash.
"Aunt Cree, do you really think father would keep me from the wonders of your charm?" He grinned big, followed by his aunts stare. " And who might this be Sabashtin?" She said holding out her hollow fingers to greet me."Ryder, Ryder Pierce. " Sabashtin said.
His aunt grabbed my hand, eyes turning a glossy grey. Sabashtin's eyes went big."Run." Aunt Cree said.
