"So your saying I'm not just the long lost ruler of TWO kingdoms?! And supposedly I have TWO powers? Oh and to top it off all the memories I have of my parents' deaths are real? The white light?, everything?!" I was mad, yet this all made sense. "Exactly," Draco said, still a bit shocked. "Since you are still so young and you have been unaware of your abilities, along with your heritage, your going to need a teacher." Marco said. Great. I was drug into another world, with now the same fear of school.
My face sunk and I didn't even try to resist. "Draco, walk Ryder back to her chambers, it is soon to be dark," Draco nodded and helped me up. I was weak, that I knew, and my feet seemed to be like wet noodles, bellowing and swaying at every movement. I could hardly stand on my own. "And Ryder, your lessons will begin 6 days from now, I hope your strength will have returned by then?" Marco says, turning his back on us and walking into the shrubs directly beside the benches.I kept my arm around Draco to keep myself stable. The walk to my chambers was long, and slightly painful, seeings how it was hard to even walk on my own. By the time we had gotten halfway there, Draco picked me up and carried me. When we arrived at my chambers, Draco opened the door and put me on my bed. For some reason I felt drained, as though I had no energy left in me. "Thank you," I said dazily to Draco. He smiled and said, "I'll be here tomorrow around dawn, get some sleep princess." Draco turned from me and walked out of the room. My eyelids felt heavy, and I gladly welcomed sleep.
The next morning was at the least bit eventful. Hattie had woke me up a few moments before dawn so I could prepare for Draco's tour of the grounds. I had gotten to bathe, which I Ever so needed, and Hattie had picked out a dress that I thought was absolutely marvelous. The dress was black with a pale emerald lace trim. She pulled my hair back into a thick braid and wove orchids throughout it, tying it all together with a black lace ribbon. I looked older than 16, maybe 19 or 20. Draco had came in shortly after I had gotten ready.
"You look amazing Ryder," Draco said. He smiled and like before held his arm out for me to take. I accepted, unsure what exactly I was supposed to do. We began walking through corridors, until we made our way to a huge door, that looked like the main entrance and exit. "Wait here Ryder, I have to get something before we tour the grounds." Draco said mysteriously. I did as told and stayed. "close your eyes and no peeking!" He added. I closed my eyes and my nerves started to eat at me. A few moments passed and then I felt something touch my shoulder. "You can open now," I opened my eyes, and I could feel my heart beat skip. "Happy birthday Ryder." In Draco's arms lay a small, half-awake, puppy. It looked different from any puppy I'd ever seen before. "My birthday isn't for another 3 days!!! Where did you find him?! Oh my !! It's so darling!! Thank you so much Draco..." I was beyond happy, "It took me forever to find a wolf cub of such quality. I thought it fit, due to the fact that the wolf is your mother's crowned animal." Wolf?! I looked closer at it and I felt my joy rise, it was perfect. With a silver and black coat and blue eyes, it reminded me of myself. "He doesn't have a name yet, if you were wondering." Draco said. I started to think for a moment, "Bayo," I said. "His name is Bayo."Draco nodded in approval, smiling.Just then, the doors of the castle burst open, revealing a beaten down man. He was stumbling, coming closer to me. he grabbed my shoulder, and I could see the fear in his eyes. "She is coming for you princess! She's coming!" Then he collapsed at my feet.
