"-I was scared but Brother Vaughn is even scarier and he will protect me!".

I nod my head confidently as Dad grabs Hectors collar."You put my hands on my daughter you little shit".

Hector looks at his father who shrugs at him."You better be luckily it's him and me.Ill deal with you later"Uncle Lucas says

"She was being a brat"."And who are you to discipline my child?"Dad snaps.

"She isn't the only one who bullied".

My mum looks at me and Dad tilts his head."Oh yea,He  used to love to harass me when I was little.Cut my hair,Push me into pools,start rumors about me in elementary and even stripped me clean so he can call me names".

You know it feels really good to come to terms with this.Ive held it in for a long time and it feels good to finally be about to express it to others.

Hectors eyes shift to fear as my father nods his eyes."You want to be a man now huh?Lucas can I?".

"Go ahead.He need to be taught a lesson".

My father punches him square in his mouth before shoving him back in the ground."How dare you!"Ester yells.

Uncle Lucas chuckles and says "I don't.We have been divorced for three years now".

My eyes go wide as I sit down.Oh this is about to be some tea.This really was a telenova in the making.

"What?"Abuela asks.

"Sorry Mami but me and your daughter divorced three years ago after I found out that Hector isn't even my son.She hooked up with some wannabe gangster while I was away on business".

Esters fact turns red and she looks away."Oh wow.You got on me about me being pregnant with Marie before marriage you out here popping it for anyone"Aunt Sofia says.

My eyes widen as Abuela walks over and slaps her."How dare you say that about our own children!".

I start laughing and they look at me."What is so funny?"She hisses at me.

I tilt my head and say "Well all of that is stupid.Because they will ready themselves whether or not you push them or not.I mean it's the main thing about being an adult.You will fail regardless".

I look at my fingertips and says "The other thing you did was raise a pair of arrogant brats who don't know the meaning of messing up and how you can learn from those mistakes".

"I don't want advice from a girl like you"She says turning her nose up.

I laugh again and say"What?A girl that's going to make triple the amount you make when I graduate?The girl who is going to graduate from the most prestigious school in London?The girl who will graduate at the top of her class and already has jobs lining up for her?Oooh yes wouldn't want to be like me!".

She growls and says "You need to teach your daughter manners,Lia"."I think my daughter is doing just fine actually.Don't you hunny?".

Dad nods his head and smiles."Couldn't be more proud".

Hmm that felt like an act but we will let them run with it.I smirk as Aunt Ester rushes out of the room with her children following her.

Her husband-oops.Ex-husband shakes his head at me and smirks."You had to make a scene"."It's what I'm known for".

He laughs and sits down at the table."Oh you are still very much welcome here"Abuela says to him.

"I will still call you uncle"I say smiling."Me too"Marie says.

"Thank you"he says bowing his head to us.

Wow I can't wait to tell Zoe the tea about this trip.its definitely going to be amazing.

I flip her off as the door opens.Marie walks in and says "Bitch.Drop your shit and get ready.We are going to a rave tonight?".

I look up from the FaceTime and say"A rave?But you hate those"."Well that was before I found out Javier was going to be there".
