Katsuki arrived back at the manor he had robbed accompanied by the palace guards who wouldn't let him out of their sights.

After his encounter with the servant with a good aim earlier, he didn't particularly look forward to coming back, but he had promised to bring the horse back and a promise is a promise.

The large doors opened and a man, who Katsuki figured to be the head of the house, based on his fancy attire, stepped out, grinning.

"Your highness," the man greeted, "to what do I owe the pleasure?"

"We're just returning the horse, baron," Katsuki replied, for some reason, Katsuki hated the man the moment he spoke.

The Baron looked slightly taken aback before he regained his composure and asked, "was it missing?"

Katsuki nodded, "Yeah, I borrowed it this morning."

He paused and then added, "I fear I may have scared the wits out of one of your servants. A young man with quite a good arm."

The Baron frowned saying quickly, "I apologize my Lord, he is," he paused for a moment, seemingly trying to find the right way to phrase what he was going to say, "not the smartest."

Katsuki hummed in response, strangely hoping the servant wouldn't get into too much trouble. He also began regretting even mentioning it in the first place.

Suddenly, the door opened again and two women rushed out.

Katsuki guessed they were the Baron's children, based off their nice looking dresses.

"Your highness," the Baron began, "may I introduce, my daughters, Akumu and Akari."

The women smiled and curtsied, "your highness," they said in unison.

Katsuki smiled politely, "nice to meet you ladies."

The Baron stepped forward towards Katsuki, "we are so looking forward to celebrating the engagement between you and the princess of the Jiro family."

Katsuki cleared his throat, now wanting the conversation to end, "Yes, well, there have been a few new developments with regards to the Jiro family."

Searching for a way to change the subject, Katsuki noticed something golden on Akumu's dress, "I must say, Akumu, that brooch is stunning."

"Oh this old thing," Akumu laughed softly, "you're too kind."

Izuku rushed down the path towards the main road that led to the palace, praying he was going to make it on time. He had been in the area (as a servant) plenty of times to know that the carriage holding all the future slaves, hopefully including Asui, would be passing through.

He'd never forgive himself if he wasn't able to save Asui. This thought fueled him to run faster.

Arriving at the road, guards parted, allowing Izuku to walk through the crowd. It was clear his disguise was working.

He spotted the small metal cell being pulled by horses and easily found Asui among the servants inside.

She thankfully looked unharmed, though terrified.

Taking a moment to ready himself for what he was about to do, Izuku ran in front of the horses, who came to a stop.

"I wish to address the issue of this lady," he said loudly, relieved when his voice came out confident instead of shaky and weak, "he is my servant and I am here to pay the debt against him."

The coachman sneered at him, "You're too late. She's already been bought and paid for."

"I can pay you 20 gold coins," Izuku pleaded.

"Sir, you can have me for 20 gold coins," the man countered, before turning his attention back to the people holding the horses drawing the cell, "now drive on!"

Izuku grabbed the horses reins, "I demand you release her at once, or I shall take this matter to the king."

It was an empty threat. He couldn't take anything to the king without someone recognizing him as nothing more than a lowly servant dressed as someone above his station.

"The kings the one who sold her," the man spat, annoyance laced in his tone, "she's now the property of the Americas."

This pissed Izuku off and before he could stop himself, he snapped, "she is not property at all, you ill-mannered tub of guts. Do you honestly think it right to chain people like cattle?"

"I demand you release her at once."

Izuku could practically see the man's anger boiling over, "get out of the way," the coachman yelled, getting as close as he could to Izuku's face without falling off the horse.

Izuku flinched but before he could defend himself, another voice spoke, "you dare raise your voice to a noble, sir?"
