The sound of laughter drifted up from the street below, making him feel very alone in this new town. He sat upon the swings questioning if anyone even noticed his existence, from his parents to some of his "friends" wouldn't look at him. What would he have to do for even the slightest hint of attention, for someone to at least look at him?
He sees a shadow looming over him and he looks up, noticing a girl. She was beautiful, and the way she gazed at him, it made him feel like the world, her smile made his heart race and he got flustered. The girl smiled gently at him and asked for his name and from then on the two began to talk. She made his day giving him the affection and attention he so desired. He would look forward to seeing her daily and spending time with her at the swings.
His loneliness soon began to disappear and dissolve as the two grew closer. The boy had been crushing on this girl for the past month and half. She seemed to reciprocate from time to time.
The once dark gray dulled world was filled with life and color waking up to hearing the birds chirping and the cool breeze with the grass and trees slow but beautiful movement.
