Slightly longer Chapter this time, but my ideas for this story are really coming together. Expect another update very soon and leave comments/votes so I know there are people who are actually enjoying this story. Thanks! It turned out, that if she wanted to be a part of the cheerleading squad, or the Cheerios as the girls so affectionately called it, Santana would have to comply with Coach Sylvester's every demand. This was including that of joining that stupid glee club with Brittany and Quinn.
The end of August had arrived and school had once again began. Santana found herself at a new school, surrounded by a bunch of people who had known each other their entire lives, and seemed to be judging her as she walked by them.
"Yeah, she had us do this last year, too, but the club someone stayed alive after we tried to sabotage it." Quinn blabbed on next to Santana, who found it a little absurd that students were being used as pawns in an evil plot composed by a tall Ellen Degeneres. Santana turned as Quinn chuckled a little. Quinn motioned to the teacher at the front of their Spanish classroom. "That's the guy who runs the club."
Santana sneered with a little bit of disgust evident in her face. His tight sweater vest was distasteful and his gelled back hair made him look kind of like a predator. "Looks like a weirdo."
"Kind of is. But he means well most of the time." '
Santana opened the door to the McKinley choir room at 3 O'clock after school. She scanned the room as she walked in for Quinn, but couldn't find her cute face. Santana didn't really desire the seat right next to Brittany, but she would much rather sit next to Brittany than next to some theater kid she had never met before.
Santana could feel Britany's eyes on the side of her head. Brittany whispered over o her, " Hey, about that night. I-I uhh. I just wanted to say that I'm so sorry for how I treated you and I shouldn't have just trusted Kitty right away. She was controlling and-"
Brittany was cut of by the shrill vocal warmups of some short black haired girl in the direct middle and front of the room. Instead of responding to Brittany's interrupted apology, Santana simply grabbed Brittany's hand for a moment, as if to say, I get it. It's okay.
Brittany flinched a little and turned away. Was Brittany embarrassed? Was she blushing? Santana pushed her thoughts out of her head as the Sweater dude walked in through the door. "Nice to see most of the same faces as last year. Some new faces too! Introduce yourselves." Mr Predator motioned over to the three cheerleaders sitting in the corner.
"Umm, I'm Quinn." Quinn had already explained to Santana that most of the returning members of the Glee club knew Quinn already because of her relationship with Finn, who was coerced into joining the club the year before when the Vested Weirdo planted drugs in his locker. This teacher guy did not yet have a good rep with Santana.
"Brittany Pierce!" Brittany yelled out her name in the chipper tone she used before Kitty. Santana noticed people nodding at Brittany. It made sense. From what she had heard from Quinn, Brittany was like, THE most popular girl in their class. She even had some vlogging series that Santana would have to remind herself to watch later.
While Santana had zoned out the rest of the club had looked over at her, expecting her to introduce herself. Brittany elbowed her in the ribs. "Oh! Uh... Santana."
A blonde boy in the back of the room raised his eyebrows, "Exotic!" Multiple people looked back at him, and the black girl sitting next to him shook her head and slapped his shoulder lightly. "What? It's cool!" Santana didn't know if she should laugh or be offended.
