Chapter 2 - Uncontrollable Tears

Third POV

"Uso!" Asuna shouted, making everyone to wince.

"Asuna-chan! Calm down!" Wakaba shouted.

"I won't calm down! How did this happen?!" she cried.

"S-She sacrificed herself... to save us from one of Zeref's demons..." Erza answered.

"She sacrificed herself...? Who is this demon?" she mumbled repeating the words and placed her hands over her teary eyed face.

"Yeah...his name was Kurai."

"Kurai...? When did this happen?" Asuna asked softly, trying to register everything in her mind.

"About three months ago... and that was also when we had her funeral. We were suppose to contact you but we couldn't locate you... after all you always loved to do some quests. Just like Gildarts." Mira answered as she looked over to Cana who held a drunk expression.

"Am I missing something?" she asked, taking off her hands from her face to look over to them.

"Well you could say that you have missed a lot of things while you were gone."

"Like?"

"Like how Gildarts is actually Cana's dad!" Gray answered and Asuna stared in shock but later held a frown.

"Shut it!" Cana blurted in a drunk matter.

"Oi, Asuna." Natsu called out and she raised an eyebrow at him.

"She told us something... that we would find her. I don't know but we will find her." Natsu said as he crossed his arms.

"Have you guys tried to look for her?"

"We have.. but there was nothing at all. No clue or anything." Lucy said as she patted Asuna's back.

"A-Ano... Asuna-san?" a small soft voice peeped.

"Yes?" she asked to see a girl with long blue hair that was tied in pigtails and soft brown eyes.

"I-It was my fault that Cynthia-chan died... B-Because of me.. I..."

"It's not your fault. I should've been here... to protect Cynthia and all of you... if only... I knew." Asuna said solemnly and patted her head for reassurance.

"H-Hai... I'm sorry." she cried.

"Like I said... It's not your fault...?"

"Wendy. Wendy Marvell and that's Carla." she answered with a small smile and later pointed out to her white exceed.

"Nice to meet you Wendy, Carla. I'm Asuna which you may already know. And to the others who have joined our guild." she smiled.

"Likewise." a mean looking guy with long black spiky hair and studs.. or to be precise, piercings were on his face.

"Juvia agrees." a girl with blue hair added.

"You are?"

"Gajeel Redfox and don't forget my cat! Lily!" he proudly said.

"Juvia Lockser." she greeted and Asuna gave them each a nod. Not wanting to say much anymore, after all ... Asuna has lost her only family member. Now she is the only one living.

"H-How is Master taking all of this?" Asuna asked to no one in particular.

"He's been doing fine... Still shaken up about... the accident." Gray said.

"Was there any other guilds with you?"

"Sabertooth." Natsu answered simply.

"So it's that damn Sabertooth guild huh?" Asuna chuckled as tears were still staining her cheeks.
