Chapter 6 - Invasion

Asuna's POV

"Let's go!" Cana yelled as we all got up from our spots that we actually came out from her cards. Soon the guild and myself ran towards our enemy ahead of us.

"Fairy Tail move out!" everyone shouted and I smirked in confidence as I ran towards one of the enemies and re-equip my spear in my hands, slashing down the opponent in front of me.

"Fire Slash!" I shouted as flames engulfed my spear and quickly dashed towards three more enemies who were approaching towards me. "I'll make you all out of barbeque! How would you like that?!"

"Gwah!" they shouted as they turned into crisp.

"Burned you guys a little too much than I thought I would... oh well." I smirked evilly.

"How dare you try to hug Gray-sama from behind!" I heard Juvia to yell as she kicked one of Tantaros's men.

"W-What the..." I muttered at the scene as a sweat drop on my forehead came into play.

"Juvia is always like that. Don't mind her! Asuna behind you!" I heard Cana to say.

"I'm on it! Combine... Water and Air Unison! Shred!" I yelled as my spear quickly formed multiple blades that held both elements and quickly shot them down towards at least twenty more of the Tataros's men. It has only been a week or so ever since I came back in Fairy Tail... although it was only for a visit... it took me longer than expected and not too mention that we are currently fighting against Tartaros. As well with the encounter and breaking inside of Sabertooth's guild to knock some sense into Sting about letting Cynthia to die. That idiot.

Even to add on, our guild base was ruined... no scratch that... it exploded into bits and pieces of debris. No longer a building anymore but ruble. I've soon learned that it was Elfman who was part of it. But he was being possessed and wanted to save his little sister, that I was surprised to see her alive... but she wasn't technically dead but was sent to Edolas... that was another world with no magic. Weird. And that's where Mystogan went too... to where he belonged. His home and world. I've always knew that there was something strange about him and I was right.

I've missed my guild and they're fun and crazy adventures and my dearest cousin. Even if Cynthia really was... dead... I have decided to take her place and that's what I have decided to stay for a while now... although I will miss doing jobs that I usually do on a very long journey. But something else wanted me to stay longer... and that was to find my dearest cousin... Cynthia. She had to be alive and I know it. She can't be dead... that's impossible.

"Hmph. You guys are way to easy." I smirked and swung my spear around me as heavy winds were surrounding me, making the enemies to fly.

"Would you turn that down a notch!" I heard someone to yell.

"Huh?"

"Oi! Asuna, you're blowing some of us away!" Gajeel hollered as I gave him a cheeky grin.

"S-Sorry... I guess I got carried away from protecting my family." I scratched my cheek to see him chuckle. I slightly turned around to see the rest of the guild fighting against the soldiers of Tartaros, but I was trying to look for an opening to get inside of their base... no luck.

"Rainbow Fire!" I heard Romeo to shout as he attacked with a huge explosion mixed with a bunch of different colored flames that I was impressed with.

"You've grown Romeo-kun! But..." I started to say in his direction, preparing for any attack around me.

"We still haven't made any headway!" he ended my sentence.

"How are we supposed to reach the castle?" Wakaba said who was smoking his cigar.
