Cynthia's POV

"Cynthia... Cynthia..."

"What?" I groaned.

"Cynthia."

"Hm?"

"Cynthia!"

"Whaaaat!?" I asked in annoyance to see Asuna with a small grin, making me to relax.

"Are you still wanting to come with me on my long journey and job?" she asked excitedly as she shoved a piece of paper in front of my face.

"Where did you even get that?" I gawked as I grabbed to paper to read.

"I have my... sources." she grinned making me to sweat drop.

"And those sources are...?"

"Secret."

"Geez. You act like a kid sometimes. You remind me of Sting-kun sometimes." I chuckled, sipping on my vanilla milkshake.

"Don't compare me to that loser." Asuna snickered, making me to twitch an eye.

"He's not a loser." I argued.

"Really? Not by the looks of it when he let you die." she remarked.

"That was four months ago! It wasn't Sting-kun's fault, Asuna-onee-chan! And you know that." I sighed, not wanting to argue with her.

"Look. I love you Cynthia. You're basically my sister and I don't want you to go out with the wrong crowd... maybe someone like Gray!?" she chirped and I stared at her wide eye.

"What?! Gray is like an older brother to me! Besides, even if I did.... someone would hate me for it."

"Like who...? Oh wait... I got you." Asuna sweat dropped as I did.

It was silent for a few minutes before I started a new topic, after taking in another sip of my milkshake.

"But is it really true that Natsu left...?" I asked softly, slurping my milkshake.

"Yeah... apparently... That's what Mira told me." Asuna muttered sadly as she took a spoonful of lime sorbet.

"Things aren't as they used to be as I thought I would." I sighed, running my hand through my brown locks.

"You can say that again sister." Asuna waved her spoon in the air.

"He better go back on his word, if he's only going on a journey for a year." I cringed as I got myself a headache.

"Brain freeze?" Asuna chuckled before taking a couple of spoonfuls on lime sorbet. "Argh!"

"Brain freeze?" I asked this time and she nodded vigorously.

"Geez... you need to calm down with your lime sorbet." I chuckled.

"No way! You know how much I LOVE them!" she bickered and I sighed.

"I know. But still! I don't want you to get sick or anything."

"Yes mom."

"Stop that."

"Sorry."

"It's fine."

"Say..." Asuna started, her spoon in her mouth.

"Yes?"

"Are you still up for the journey with me?"

"I... don't know." I muttered, twirling my straw in my milkshake that was only half.
