Sometime earlier when Kanao and Shouichi were ejected from the mansion, Kanao lies on the ground unconscious,

The thing is... I've Always had really good hearing.

One time, I knew what people said while I was asleep, and that creeped everyone out.

'I'm not hearing any more demon sounds.... Nezuko, you defeated that demon, didn't you?' Kanao thinks as she lays on the ground, waking up slowly, 'I can hear you guys, but also these weird-sounding, loud footsteps..' She thinks.

"Kanao! Kanao!" Shouichi yelled, shaking Kanao as she opened her eyes, 'Aaah! Thank goodness! Are you alright!?" Shouichi cried, "When the room spun around, we got thrown outside. We fell from the second-story window"

"Ah.. Did we know?" Kanao says glancing over at Shouichi.

"Yea you were protecting me, So i'm totally fine, but..." There were tears in Shouichi's eyes.

"I'm glad to hear that...So, tell me, why all the tears?" She asks to bring a hand behind her head before feeling something sticky, "huh?" She says before bringing the hand in front of her only to see it covered with blood, "Now I get it! I fell right onto my head, didn't I !?!" Shouichi nods, noticing Kanao freaking out. "Am I gonna... Am I gonna die!?!?" She yells out tears forming in her eyes, "ah, my head is starting to spin-" she says before hearing an evil laugh coming from the mansion. Her eyes widened, "What's this!? What's This!? What's This!?" She yells.

"Comin' through! Comin' Through!" The girl with a boar mask yells as she broke down the door of the mansion.

"AAAAH! THere it is again! THe monster boar!" Kanao yells

"Hahahahaha! I'm getting a demonic vibe!" The boar girl yelled again.

" Ah, it's her! I was able to tell from her voice, She's the fifth survivor!" Kanao says, staring at the girl with the boar mask. "During the final selection, she was the first to rush up the mountain, and then he came down from the mountain before anyone else! Miss Impatient!" SHe says staring at the boar head girl.

The boar head girl see's the box laying on the ground, "hahahaha! I found it!" SHe yells happily or does it sound insane? She ran up the box with her swords drawn, Kanao's eyes widened, she quickly ran and jumped in front of the box.

"Cut it out!" Kanao yells at the Girl.

"Hah... Who the hell are you!? Get out of the way!" The girl yells

"I'm Kanao Tsuyuri! I'm with the demon slayer corps! Just like you!" Kanao says, putting her arms out to protect the box.

"Huh? Demon slayer corps? Then I shouldn't have to tell you!" The girl yells, "We gotta get rid of that thing! Now get the hell out of my way!" The girl yells angrily.

"I'm not Moving! This is Nezuko's-" Kanao yells before getting cut off.

"Don't argue with me! In that case I'm gonna demolish her and the box together!" SHe yells pointing her sword at Kanao's neck. "Now I said move it!" but Kanao refuses to move, keeping herself between the boar masked girl and the box. "Why you...." She growls out.

"Inside this box... Inside this box is something I'm not letting you touch! It's something precious to NEzuko!" Kanao yells.

"Oh hey come on! What are you talking about!? There's a demon inside that box! Don't you get that!?" The girl yells.

"I've known from the start!" Kanao says 'I knew she was traveling with a demon..Because the sounds demons make aren't anything like human sounds. But I can pick up a sound so gentle and kind from Nezuko that it makes me want to cry. So kind, I don't think I've ever heard anything like it before... All living creatures constantly give off sounds. The world is full of all these sounds spilling out. Breathing, Heartbeats, the sound of blood circulating... By listening closely, I could tell what someone was thinking. But I've been deceived by others time and time again.I've always believed in whomever I wanted to believe in. Nezuko.. Despite being a demon slayer, is traveling with a demon.. But I'm sure she has a reason for that, And that is a reason I can accept! I believe that!' Kanao tightens her stance in front of the box "I'm going to ask Nezuko directly myself! So you... Can just back off!" Kanao yells, The Boar mask girl then just kicks Kanao multiple times and Kanao is knocked onto the ground. The girl turns to the box but Kanao just tackles her to the ground.
