Chapter 23

Harry's POV

I woke up with Draco's good arm wrapped around me. I ran my hands up and down his chest and then kissed him to wake him up. He kissed back and I released.
"Morning, love." I told him. I was afraid that he thinks I don't love him. But I Do. 100%.
"Morning." he said and got up with me.
We quickly got changed into our school robes and headed down to the Great Hall for breakfast. I grabbed his hand and we walked down the hallway. Draco was still sad, probably from the previous night. so I stopped him.
"Draco." he turned to look at me and I wrapped my arms around his neck, and he slithered his around my waist.
"You know how much I love you?" He nodded. "A lot, I would think. You only tell me all the time." He said smiling. I smiled back.
"Good, and I know you love me. but I have to tell you something." I said in all seriousness. He furrowed his eyebrows.
"What is it?"
"At you sure you won't freak out?"
"Yes..."
"I don't want to bother you."
"Harry tell me, you know you can tell me anything." He put his arms tighter around me. I could tell he was getting mad. I smiled a little bit.
"I.."
"Harry just tell me for Merlins sake!" He shouted
"I Think I love you more!" I shouted right back at him. He smiled.
"No i definitely do."
"Nope. I do."
We bickered like that until we got to the Great Hall. I gave him a kiss.
We walked over to Pansy and Goyle, who were talking about calculus (they're nerds) Draco and I just laughed and sat down.

"Does anyone know what a boggart looks like?" Professor Lupin asked. Out of all the Gryffindors and Slytherins, only Hermione knew.
"No one knows, a boggart is a shape shifter that takes the form of your greatest fear." she explained to the confused class.
"That's correct! 5 points to Gryffindor." Slytherins all around the room groaned.
"So today, we will be defeating them. Now then, get into a straight line." everyone scrambled around the room to get into a straight line.
"Now the spell is 'Riddikulus' say it with me."
"Riddikulus." the houses chanted.
First Neville went up, and got Gryffindor 10 points after defeating a Snape boggart by putting it in Grandma clothes. After him was another Slytherin, that got us 5 points. Another. And another. Then Ron, who's boggart was a spider. That thing was huge! Draco grabbed my hand and squeezed, he must be afraid of those too.
Just as I was about to go up, I was thinking about my fears. I thought of a lot, but the biggest one was Dementors.

Draco's POV

Harry went up to the front of the line, and the boggart started turning different colors and shapes until it turned into a Dementor.
Harry froze for about three seconds, and it was about to attack him. Hermione had to hold me back from running up there. Harry was about to say the spell, when Professor Lupin shoved him into the sea of students, only to be caught by me. Everyone was looking at Professor Lupin, who was staying to get the boggart back into the cabinet.
I helped Harry up, and he was shaking horribly. I pulled him into my arms, and he wrapped his arms around my waist. I kissed his head, and then Professor Lupin said everyone was dismissed.
Harry gulped, and I helped him up and to our dorm. When we got there, he was still slightly shaking.
"C'mere." I motioned to my open arms. He immediately kept into them. "Are you okay now?" I whispered into his hair. He nodded and released.
"Why was it a Dementor? I would have thought it would be something else. Like more powerful?" I asked him. He smiled weakly.
"Well, first I thought of Voldemort- sorry You-know-who- , but I knew he wasn't here. Then I thought of Dementors, then I thought of you leaving me, or not loving me, but then I knew you wouldn't do that to me. So I went to Dementors. They're really scary, especially when one is not even a foot away form you." he then took a huge breath after his speech, and hugged me.
"You didn't think of me leaving you." I stated, I couldn't believe it. He trusted me and loved me that much. I smiled.
"Nope. you love me too much. And Ron would kill you if you did." we both laughed and I kissed him.
"It's true I do love you too much."
"I know." he said. I stuck my tongue out at him. He just laughed at me.

I woke up in the same place from the previous night. We were on the floor, we didn't even make it to the bed. we were way to tired. We spent the night either making out or talking.
"Harry, wake up." I said as I poked his head.
"Yeah, Dray?"
"It's Saturday." I stated.
"Which means we can sleep in." He said as he snuggled closer into my chest.
"But baaaabeeeee." I whined.
"Whhhhaaaaat." he whined right back at me.
"It's the first Hogsmeade trip today, and I want you to go with me on a date." I told him as I lifted him on top of me. Our arms and legs were wrapped around each others and he pecked my lips.
"I can't. Aunt Petunia and Ve-ver-... Him, they didn't sign my permission slip, I can't go." he said very sadly. I hugged him.
"Okay, we can just go to the lake or something whenever you'd like." he smiled.
"Yay. Can you get me candy though?" He smiled. I pecked his lips.
"Of course."

THIRD PERSON

Draco and Harry walked down the hallways. Draco having to wrap his arm around Harry's waist, so that he would fall over.
"What did you even do when I was gone?" Draco asked his boyfriend.
"I went with Lupin to do some practicing on fighting Dementors." Harry said. Draco chuckled.
Draco led his boyfriend back to their dorm, where Harry flopped on a bed, taking up the whole thing sleeping like a starfish. Draco laughed and went to the other bed.

They were both oblivious to the terrible night that awaited them.

BREAK IN THE PAGE.

Draco woke up to breath tickling his neck. He tried pushing the person off, thinking it was Harry.
"Harry, go away." Draco mumbled. He still felt the breath. Then he heard light snoring from Harry's bed. Draco got terrified. He bolted his eyes open, to see someone standing above him, knife in hand, daring to kill him.
"AHHHHH." Draco screamed. Harry bolted up, to see a man on top of Draco, who was trying to shield himself by putting his arms over his head.
"DRACO!" Harry screamed, as the man plunged the knife forward to Draco, cutting open his skin on his arms, and put a little cut on his face. The man looked up, saw Harry, and bolted out of the room. It wasn't just any man. it was the man he saw on the news and fliers. Sirius Black.
Harry zoomed over to Draco.
"Draco, Draco! Oh my god, oh my god...I love you." Harry was shaking horribly and crying at the sight of His boyfriend trembling from blood loss, and he had blood all over the place. He was whimpering, and Harry knew he had to act.
He bolted out of the room, blood all over him, too see everyone in the common room and Professor Snape standing at the door.
"H-help PLEASE!" Harry wept. Everyone turned to face Harry, drenched in blood from his waist up, from when he hugged Draco. "I-it's Draco, Professor Snape." Then Harry broke down in sobs.
Snape ran into the room, and you could hear Draco screaming in agony. Harry tried bolting into the room, but Pansy ran over, and hugged Harry. Harry sobbed into her shoulder. Everyone was still watching them.
"Harry what happened?" Pansy asked softly, trying to calm the boy in her arms.
"He.. h-he was attack-ed. Sirius Black g-got in and came after him with a-a knife." Harry said in between gasps. He sobbed even harder at the thought of loosing his love.
Then you heard Snape yelling to get help, and The Slytherin Prefects bolted out of the dorm, one holding the bloody mess of Draco, and one running to get the door.
Harry tried to get away, but everyone held him back.
"NO! LET ME SEE HIM! DRACO! PLEASE PANSY PLEASE!" Harry sobbed as he tried to get away. Snape came out, covered in blood, and Harry lost it again.
"Mr. Potter, you must come down to the Great Hall, we need to tell Dumbledoor why you will be out of the Great Hall." he said as he grabbed Harry.

They made it down to the Great Hall, and Harry immediately broke into sobs when Professor Snape started explaining why he would be out of the Great Hall.

He ran out of the room, down to the Infirmary.
