Chapter 93

Tears of joy

Draco's POV

"Harry," I said through a kiss full of passion. We were currently at the exit of a corridor to get outside, arms wrapped around each other kissing shortly before I had to go 'home to visit my parents'.
"Yes?" Harry asked as he pulled away.
"I'll only be gone for the day, baby." I said as I stroked his side.
"I know, but I'll miss you anyway." Harry said. I smiled and pecked his lips.
"I'll miss you too, but I'll be back soon. Promise," I said.
"Fineeee... Can we go to dinner this weekend?" He asked. I was suppose to be 'going out with my parents to eat'.
"Of course we can. I love you," I told him, and kissed him gently. He kissed back as always, and smiled a little.
"I love you too," he said. He let me out of his firm grip on me, and let me walk to Hogsmeade.
I looked around to make sure no one was watching, and apparated. I looked up, and saw the huge house. It started to move apart, and I stepped in before walking down the long hallway. I knocked in the door, and waited.
"Oh, he's here, Remmy, get the door please?" I heard Sirius ask over a giggling baby.
The doorknob turned and the door opened to show Remus. He smiled widely and moved to let me in.
"Hello, Draco," he said as I Walked through the door.
"Hello Remus, Sirius," I turned to see teddy. I riffled his head and gave him a kiss on his forehead.
"Hello teddy," I smiled, and teddy laughed loudly. I got a box out of my pocket, made it grow bigger, and gave it to him. It was a stuffed Zebra I got for him, nice and fluffy. Teddy squealed and took it before blubbering in baby language.
"Oh, you didn't have to do that Draco," Sirius said. I smiled as I took off my coat.
"Yes I did. He's my favorite cousin." I said. Remus chuckled and walked over.
"Here," He said as he snapped his fingers to make food appear. I hung my coat up and picked teddy up and put him on my hip as I took him to walk around.
"When are my parents suppose to be here?" I asked.
"Few minutes probably." Sirius said from the kitchen.
"Okay," I said as I took a water glass from Teddy. He's gotten a lot bigger and smarter, inheriting his mothers smarts and dads wolf genes. He isn't a werewolf, but he has the senses of a wolf. If that makes sense. So he's fast, a quick thinker, very strong, and has a good sense of smell, hearing, and sight. Along with the metamorphmagus genes he inherited. So he's like awesome.
He's also learned how to crawl and pick stuff up now, so he has grabby hands. That pick up glasses.
"Ted, no buddy." I said as I took the glass. He let out a sad yell as I set the glass down.
"Teddy!" Remus and Sirius yelled. Teddy pouted.
"Teddy, you know you aren't allowed to play with those. Here, play with your zebra." I said as I set him on the floor. His eyes lit up and he giggled as he took it in his hands. I sat on the floor and played with teddy, which was basically him showing me around the living room, giving me stuff to hold onto like tissues or the remote as he crawled around. Then there was a knock on the door.
Remus opened it to my parents. Dad smiled and walked in, hanging his coat up and talking to Sirius and Remus. Mom gasped and ran over, holding tons of stuffed animals and diapers up to her chin in her arms. She dropped them all on the floor, and I laughed as she smiled at Teddy.
"Cissy!" Sirius gasped. "You didn't hav-"
"Yes. I did. He's a relative-adorable by the way- and I'm doing this for every baby in the family." Mom said as she held her finger out for Teddy to take on his small hand.
"Well, dinner is done," Remus called. Mom picked up teddy and brought him to the table, making a 'Woosh' noise as she picked him up. Teddy giggled loudly.
"Da," he said as he pointed to Sirius. Sirius waved, and teddy did an attempt at a wave back (which he was getting good at). Mom gasped.
"Oh! He's talking already!" She asked excitedly.
"He has a highly developed brain Cissy, he's going to learn to walk early too most likely," Sirius said. Teddy tugged on my sleeve. I turned and looked at him.
"Haaaaaaaaai," he said as he waved.
"Hiiiiiiii," I smiled. Teddy giggled again and picked up a bottle to shove in his mouth.
Dinner was a basic get together. We updated everyone on what was going on and told stories. Mom and dad talked about baby proofing for Teddy, to which Sirius groaned at as Remus lit up, going into detail with mom about what to do and how to do it. I told everyone about school and stuff. Then I got to what I wanted to tell them.
I cleared my throat.
"Okay, I have to talk about something with you all. The reason why I asked to get together," I said as I pushed my plate away. They nodded and stopped eating.
"Okay. You guys know about... The Dark Lord and all that," I started, they all nodded with weary expressions. "Okay. Well, now there will be a war. You all know about that too," They nodded again. I breathed out.
"I've been thinking about a lot of stuff. And I've been thinking about Harry and I. He's going to be hunting for horcruxes, and I don't know if I'm going along. I told him he had to get away the night the Dark Lord comes. I matter what." I said. They all nodded.
"Yes, bu-"
"I'm not finished," I said, cutting Sirius off. "I've been thinking a lot, and I've come to a conclusion for after the war." I said.
"Are you breaking up with him?" Dad asked with wide eyes. Everyone looked at me, eyes wide.
"No, hopefully the opposite," I said. I took a deep breath.
"I want to marry Harry,"
