It was a rather long and very boring trip, the trip to the airport, the plane ride itself, and the trip to my father's house. As anxious as I was, I was actually thrilled to get home. To see my sister and my father after so long. I couldn't care less how much she hates me, I just miss her. I mean I do get to be here for a while..
It was later at night now when I felt the cab pull to a slow stop, having drifted off in the cab ride. I sighed deeply taking in the surrounding houses, the longing sense of home I didn't realize I had missed so much coming rushing back. I'm home.. I got out after paying the driver, grabbed my bag from the back and began for the building I was so familiar with.
The feeling was quickly replaced as I made my way up the steps, suddenly on edge as I heard yelling come from inside. I had a gun, which was in my duffel bag, too short of a notice to draw as I heard the handle of the door start to turn. Something seemed to flash past me as the door was left open but nobody was there. This confuses me, leaving me unsure for a moment. That's when I noticed a girl younger than me with a bag on her back, and a boy also younger than me rushing right behind her. The both of them were familiar, both in distress as they moved hastily.
The boy looked sixteen, maybe seventeen. He was tall and lean but was incredibly well built. He wore a brown shirt that was tight around his biceps, and wore shorts. His skin tanned like he spends most of his days out in the sun but looked natural. His hair, dark and short.
The girl, eighteen years old. She was tall, but not as tall as the guy. She had a slender figure, complemented with dark auburn hair that fell down past her shoulders. Pale, but not in a sickly kind of way. Her voice was soft but could be demanding if she really wanted to be. Her name.. was Isabella Swan.
"He left you Bella! He didn't want you anymore." The boy was persistent. I don't know what the hell was going on but he sure didn't want her to do something. Bella stopped in her hurry, ignoring the guy who yelled behind her and stared at me in pure shock. My mouth opened to say something, at first confused about the scene happening before but then it was.. I don't know. I wasn't sure what to say at first. My mind blank as I suddenly couldn't think of anything to say to my little sister.
"Scarlet? I-..I can't talk right now. I have to go." She shakes off the confusion quickly, turning towards the male that was right on her trail.
"And I'm leaving, that's final, Jacob." She finalizes towards him. Almost forgetting her previous argument. Wait Jacob...Jacob Black? Well, holy shit. Wait-..
"The hell you are, where the hell do you think you're going?" I demanded quickly, dropping my bag in reaction and followed after her. She ignored me to get in a car. It was a sleek shiny black, and was already running, just now noticing there was someone in the front seat, ready to take off in a moment's notice. Almost wanting to question that but couldn't as I turned my attention back to stopping my sister from leaving. I stopped in front of the car, in hopes it wouldn't take off.
