Surprisingly, Micky didn't want a big wedding. I was expecting him to want a huge fancy wedding like you see in the movies. one of those that has flowers everywhere and pillars along the aisle. But really, all he wanted was a small ourdoor wedding with a small cake and an arch where we'd say our vows, and maybe a few flowers. But even though it was supposed to be a small wedding, there was always the media, and the media always seemed to know everything even before it happened. They soon caught on to the idea that we were engaged and about to married, so they put a long article about it in "Monkee Spectacular" That made Micky furious. I wasn't too bothered about the idea that fans were going to be at our wedding, I just didn't wanna have people bothering Micky, and I especially didn't want ANY cameras there what-so-ever. like that was ever gonna happen. Now I'm starting to face the hardships of what marrying a celebrity is like.
Mike was the only one that seemed to be unhappy about the whole thing. Peter knew he had no chance, a long while ago. Michael would only get over it with time. It always happened like that. It's not that I didn't care for him, it was just that the spark wasn't there anymore. Mike wasn't as, well, energetic as Micky was. I needed a guy who would look out for me, and wasn't more of the laid back type. Mike strikes me as a laid-back kinda guy.
Along with Davy, Peter, and Michael, we got the decorations to the wedding set up. We'd already sent out the invitations, but of course more people than were invited would show up. The arch we painted white and strung with flowers... white roses to be exact. instead of having long pew-type benches, we had fancy white chairs. about 30 of them. 15 on each side for Micky's family and friends.
I had been searching several bridal shops for the perfect dress and thought I'd found the right one when I saw one with a long skirt, and long sleeves. The skirt rippled along the floor as I walked, and I thought it looked very classy. The sleeves were lace with roses knitted into them, of course the whole thing was white. For the veil, it was about two feet long of lace with roses knitted into it. The shoes were simple three inch heels that had the design of black/white oxfords. They were my favorite part of the whole outfit. I only had a small pearl necklace and a matching bracelet and earrings for the jewelry. I was pretty satisfied with the whole outfit. as far as I knew, Micky had a simple black suit with a white rose in the pocket.
It was time for the wedding before I knew it. Micky waited at the altar while I walked down the aisle with, don't laugh... Peter. I didn't have my parents here since they would just be about 8 years old, because of my fanatical timetravel. I saw many faces smiling on either side of me as I passed Micky's family and friends. Mike stood in the crowd with a sad look as I passed him. I avoided his gaze entirely. Peter smiled at each and every person as we sauntered by. when we made it to the altar, Micky smiled widely at me and I took his hands. we said the sane ole vows and I only got excited when he got to the 'you may kiss the bride' part. we leaned towards each other and our lips met for the second time. I tossed the bouquet to the crowd as Davy caught it, before flashing a wink at me. I grinned back in reply. We ate a couple pieces of our large wedding cake and opened a few gifts before we got into a limousine to leave for our honeymoon.
I haven't updated in awhile since I've been on vacation but now I'm back in Colorado:). Thanks for reading!:)
