If there was one thing for certain that Whitney Wolf understood, villains weren't born, they were made, and this applied heavily to her long time best friend and wife, the Queen of Hearts. For over twenty years now the Queen of Hearts has ruled Wonderland with an iron scepter. And as the most loyal of them all, Whitney, the renowned King, unabashedly obliges to any ridiculous rule her wife decrees―especially on the outlaw of desserts (her most favorite thing in the realm, no thanks to the Queen in their youth.)
(But let's not forget to mention Whitney's own evil legacy as "The Big Bad Wolf": terrorizing the Three Little Pigs, threatening a little girl in a red hood and her grandmother with consumption, turning a whole town against a little boy, and many other petty crimes like impersonation, causing mass hysteria, and actually eating several people (but only during full moons). (In Whitney's defense, she didn't remember some of those crimes whilst under the curse.)
After the royal plaza has been vandalized once again by Whitney's troublesome daughter, Princess Red, a letter from the new principal of Auradon Prep, Uma, daughter of Ursula, invites Red to attend. A chance at acceptance and redemption. There was no way the Queen would allow Red out of her clutches, not even for a moment if it meant screwing up her grand plan of turning Red into the next evil tyrant of Wonderland. Unexpectedly, the Queen readily accepts. But Whitney could smell her wife was up to something, something rotten―evil. And she was right! A coup was well on its way.
But in a hurry to change the future and right her wrongs, Red travels back in time, along with Cinderella's daughter, Chloe, to a time before her mother was the queen, but just a princess. A sweet, caring and kind princess. And to a time where her other mother was a lone wolf―pun intended―while the two struggled with their budding romance as a vicious prank enacted by Ursula's baby sister, Uliana, bubbled on the horizon.

welcome! this is my first fem x fem so be kind. i just wanted readers to know that this fic isn't connected to spirit at all, this fic is its own standalone. so, have fun with another shape shifter oc.
i also want people to know that "the big bad wolf" character from disney, so the one from the three little pigs and little red riding hood, and all the other references under that name, will be in reference to her. her birth name, whitney, will mostly be used once red and chloe go to the past. (and whitney will be called many different names other than her given name.) and yes, to lessen confusion, this fic will go along with the movie and then i'll add some things of my own.
plus, erin kellyman is the younger version of whitney, but the older version of her will be descriptions.
