Chapter - 2

Time skip

Taehyung Pov

He was working on some files and then his eyes went to his watch, noticing the time. It's already 9:00 pm. He sighed and then his though went to his new secretary.

Is she still working ?

He couldn't help but feel a pang of curiosity and concern. All day long she had been diligently working on the files he had given her.

He sat there for a moment then thought to check. He stood up from his chair and walked out of his office, making his way to the desks outside.

As he approached, he saw y/n sitting there, still working. Her attention focused on the files in front of her.

Taehyung Pov

He was watching her silently from a distance, feeling a pang of guilt for giving her this much work, especially on her first day.

It was past 9pm, and she was still working on the files he had given her. The office around her was almost empty, but Y/n was deep in her task.
He went toward her then patted her shoulder.

A/n Pov

Y/n was working on a file and she flinched hard when realized someone's hand on her shoulder. She looked back in surprise.

Y/n: Mr.Kim..?

Taehyung: Office hours end at 8 pm
(he said, his tone firm)  It's already 9 pm now. Why are you still here?

Y/n: I still have some file left to complete. Once I'm done, I will leave.

Taehyung: Finish the rest tomorrow. Go home now.

Y/n was surprised after hearing that.

Y/n in her mind: This cold Jerk also has a soft corner. Wah!! That was unexpected.

Y/n: B-but Mr.Kim. you said you needed these files submitted today. (He sighs)

Taehyung: don't you want go home?

Y/n: yeah but this file-

Her voice cut off . Taehyung looked at her, his gaze intent as he spoke.

Taehyung: Who will you submit the files when I leave?

Y/n look at her files for once then back to him.

Y/n: Mr.Kim..are you leaving now?

Taehyung: of course!! I'm leaving now.

Saying this when he was about to turn back. He paused, when he heard a faint and weary voice behind him.

Y/n called out to him

Y/n: Mr.Kim..Wait

He turned back. His eyes meeting hers

Taehyung: yes?

Y/n: Let's go down together..
