Chapter - 13

Taehyung: Y/n, Do you have boyfriend?

Y/n was caught off guard by Taehyung's sudden question. She hadn't been expecting it. Y/n shook her head, her eyes widening slightly at Taehyung's unexpected question.

Why was he asking her this?

Y/n: No
she replied, her voice a bit shaky.
Y/n: I don't..

Silence hung heavy between them after her response. Y/n waited for Taehyung's reaction, wondering why he had asked her that question.

After hearing her answer, he felt a strange sense of relief. He doesn't know why but he himself had been hoping for this answer.

But he quickly pushed that feeling aside and responded

Taehyung: oh..

they continued walking in silence. A soft smile was tugging on his lips.

After sometime Y/n and Taehyung returned to their table where Seo Yun, Jungkook and the foods were already awaited for them.

Seoyun: You two came in good time the dishes were just served

Everyone started enjoying their food.

Seoyun pov

I was having my food while chatting with Jungkook. And that's when my eyes went towards Taehyung. A soft smile plastered on his lips. He was smiling at y/n and talking.

It's been almost 2 years I haven't seen his smile. Even when I came back from America, he didn't smile at me like this. I was not surprised at all because I already knew it would happen.

After all she herself knew that 2 years ago she had left Taehyung. Without any explanation. She knew, deep down that her choice of leaving him had left Taehyung heartbroken. Actually she was insecure about her feeling for him. That's why she wanted to be alone for some time.

She knows that she has lost Taehyung the moment she had left him behind. She came back to Korea, not for him but for her company. It's true that the day Mr.Kim finds out that she's back. He doesn't waste much time asking her to marry Taehyung. Because they knew her so well.

But she knew that this was impossible. Because She and Taehyung were no longer meant to be together. People change, Their feelings towards them have changed, they were no longer the same person who had loved eachother once.

She could have said "No" to Mr.Kim right away but she didn't. She wanted to meet Taehyung. Wanted to spend some time with him before she leaves from his life for ever.

But one thing that she never expected that coming back to Korea had sparked her feelings again.. against her will..And the unexpected change was made by none other than Jungkook.

Yeah, it's true...
I think I'm starting to develop feeling for him..

I snapped out of my thoughts, a soft smile appeared on my lips as I turned my gaze from Taehyung to Jungkook. Who was smiling at them.

Seoyun: Jungkook, don't you think they are looking good together?
