Next day

Y/n was in her room, getting ready for work. After checking her appearance in the mirror one last time , she went to office.

After reaching there. Y/n arrived at her desk and settled in, She opened her laptop and began to work but her mind kept wandering back to Taehyung.

Y/n was struggling to concentrate on her work. No matter how hard she tried to focus on her tasks, her mind kept drifting back to Taehyung.

Should I go to meet him?

She knows that he must be busy at this time but the thought of seeing him for a brief moment was too strong.

She picked up a complete file from her desk, the perfect excuse to go and meet Taehyung.

With a deep breath, she stood up from her desk and made her way towards Taehyung's office. A soft smile was plastered on her lips.

But this smile did not last long..

As she was about to enter the room. She paused as voices and laughter sound drifted inside his room. It's obvious that he wasn't alone.

Her hand was hovering near the door handle. She shrugged her thoughts and entered the room . As she stepped into the room, her eyes widened to see the view.

The person who was sitting across him was none other than his girlfriend...

Her small hand was holding Taehyung's large one.

Silly me, expecting too much from people again..

Y/n: hey..( you smiled at her ) Mr.Kim, shall i come later..actually I came here to submit this file to you.

Taehyung: No..no it's alright. Give it to me now.

He took the file from Y/n's hands

Seoyun: Y/n, You have come at a good time. Actually, I came here to tell Taehyung that the project I was working on in America was successful finally . I'm so happy today!!

Y/n: Congratulations, Ms.Park. This is really a big news..
Seoyun: Thanks y/n. I want to celebrate this day so I want you to come with us at my favorite cafe..

Y/n: umm..but..

Taehyung: Please come with us..y/n

His eyes on her, observing her. At this moment Taehyung's gaze left her feeling like she had no choice in the matter. She forced a smile and nodded her head, accepting the invitation.
