Chapter - 23

Next morning

Y/n woke up with a yawn, picked up her phone from the nightstand and checked her messages. It's like a morning routine to her.

There was a text from Taehyung

"Good morning"

Y/n smiled when she saw his message, her heart fluttering in her chest. She quickly typed out a response. After replying him a sweet reply.

She got out of bed and headed to the bathroom to freshen up then get ready for her office.

She went downstairs and saw her brother.

Y/n: oppa, are you going somewhere?

Jimin: Yeah, I've some work near your office. Are you going to your office?

Y/n nodded, adjusting her bag on her shoulder.

Y/n: Yeah, I have to head to the office.

Jimin: Come with me and I'll drop you there.

Y/n thought for a moment, then nodded.

Y/n: Sure, that would be great. Thanks, oppa..

Jimin and y/n headed out of the apartment together in his car, driving towards the office building. Jimin looked at Y/n, studying her face for a moment. He could sense that something was on her mind.

Jimin: Hey, Y/n

Jimin said, breaking the silence.

Jimin: Is everything alright? You seem a bit distracted today...

Y/n: Today I've an important meeting. so yeah I'm a bit nervous.

Jimin: I see.. Just remember, you've got this.

You're smart and capable, and I know you'll do great.

Y/n: Thanks oppa..

They arrived at the office building, and Jimin stopped in front of the entrance.

Jimin: Here we are

Jimin said, turning to Y/n.

Jimin: You'll be fine, I know it.

Y/n: Thanks, oppa. I'll see you later, okay?

And at that's when another car stopped behind their car and it was none other than Taehyung's car.

Taehyung climbed out of his car, his expression going from happy to irritated as he saw y/n standing with a boy. He felt a pang of jealousy seeing them together, talking and laughing.

He has never seen this boy in his office before.

Taehyung approached them, trying to keep his expression neutral. But he couldn't help but feel a little possessive seeing Y/n so close to someone else.

He stopped a few feet away from them. waiting for Y/n to notice him.

Jimin glanced between the two of them, sensing the tense atmosphere. He could tell something was going on between them.
