Cameron spent the better part of the following two days texting Gracie. Their conversations weren't anything that special, but they were non-stop. Cameron would wake up and text Gracie, and go to sleep after saying goodnight to her. They would talk about movies and music, about each others life before their sudden fame. It had become clear to Cameron that whatever they were doing was becoming a friendship. It had been a while since Cameron had a friend she would wait for texts from, or actually get excited when their name popped up on her screen.

In just four days, most of her thoughts were consumed with Gracie. Anything that happened to her she felt like telling Gracie about it. She assumed that was a sign they would be really good friends in the future. Cameron already had a best friend, Madeline, but their friendship was somehow different. She didn't text Madeline day in and day out, not even when they first became friends. The feeling was unfamiliar territory to Cameron.

Today was Friday, and in about 3 hours Cameron had dinner with Gracie and Taylor Swift. She hadn't fully processed that, and had convinced herself Taylor would probably cancel so she didn't have to deal with the nerves she was experiencing. She decided to start getting ready at 4, taking a shower and doing her hair. Along with texting Gracie all the time, she was listening to a lot of her music. A song called Risk came up during her shower and she looked up when it was released, she was shocked to find out it was only 5 days before they had met. While reading the lyrics she furrowed her eyebrows, confused at the meaning.
