At the hospital, the doctors ran some tests, and Melia was diagnosed with a minor concussion. But the good news was that her memories were back, and she was going to be okay.
As we left the hospital, I couldn't stop stealing glances at her.
"Can I have ice cream?"
"Yeah sure," I said and she smiles.
We arrived at a Devon house that's located at harmony park and after getting her ice-cream we took a stroll on the beach.
"Uh head still a hurt you,"
"No," she said and I nod.
We stopped walking after a while and she went to sit down on a bench facing the water.
I placed her slippers between my feet and sat next to her.
"Did you—that woman did you—"
"Baby I didn't cheat on you," I said and she looked out at the sea.
"I'm sorry if it upset you to ask but you didn't leave me no choice but to assume that you did. She posted a picture in your shirt Damion, in our room," I said
"Nothing happened. I saw the picture after everything and mi can tell uh say dem time deh mi did deh pan di road. She's a good friend because her mom is friends with mine. She use to over yaad nuff when mi live over seas wid mommy. Mi neva yet push no argument to har then or now. Believe me babes," I said and she looked at me
"Okay you didn't cheat but we still failed as partners. There's was no good communication between us. I understand that you were busy but so was I and that never stopped me from checking on you," she said
"Your right and mi sorry," I said and she lets out a sigh.
"Mi fuck up bad and eh cud'n cost mi, we relationship,"
"But it didn't," she said before taking my hand.
I leaned back and she leaned in my chest. I released her hand and wrapped my arm around her shoulder.
"Thank you," she said after a while
"You couldn't have left me after finding out that I lost my memories. Even when I believe my aunt and told you to leave, you stayed,"
"Because mi love you," I said and she looks up.
"I love you too," I said before tilting her chin.
I kissed her and she kissed me back. She smiles into the kiss and I deepened it.
"Melia?"
We pulled away and our eyes landed on Dontae. I hissed my teeth and she got up.
"Dontae," she said and they hugged.
I gave Dontae a bored look as he glared at me. They pulled away and he looked at her.
"Mi no think uh wud'n deh a foreign,"
