I woke up to the sound of my mom gathering her stuff and leaving. My mom worked from 6 a.m. until 10 p.m. My first day at this school, I thought I'd better get up. I jumped up, putting some jeans on and Tshirt. I went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth and washed my face. I had to be ready in a half an hour to meet Debbie and Carl to walk me to school. I applied some makeup, put my hair in a bun, grabbed my bag and I was out the door. I kept thinking about last night. I couldn't comprehend what happened. All i know is that Carl and I were talking and he crashed his lips into mine. He was a good kisser. His lips were soft and inviting. I just can't let Debbie find out. She'd look at me different. I walked in to the Gallagher's house. Debbie came downstairs to greet me. "Morning, Mel. Need some breakfast?" She asked. I shook my head. "I'm fine, thanks." They treated me better than my mom did. "Carl is running late." She spoke. Fiona grabbed her bag from the couch. "Which is usual, so get used to it." Fiona chuckled. I hear Carl stumbling down the stairs. "My ears work fine, by the way." He grabbed his backpack and walked out the door. "I guess we're going now." Debbie said her goodbye to Fiona and we walked out the door. I ran up to Carl. "Goodmorning to you, too." I said sarcastically. "What's so good about it?" He said. "Can't you be more uplifting? It's Mel's first day of school." Debbie said. "Fine." Carl put on a fake smile. "So are you excited?" Debbie changed the subject. "Not at all." I laughed. "How far of a walk is it?" I asked Carl. "Ten minutes." "Oh, that's great." I say rolling my eyes. Carl laughed a bit.

Me and Carl walked down the hallway. I saw a group of girls pointing and laughing at me. I rolled my eyes. "Ignore those skanks," Carl muttered. "They're just jealous that you're with me." He smirked. "Is that so?" I laughed, raising an eyebrow. He nodded. "I'm kind of a badass." I laughed. "Oh my god, Carl." I playfully shove him. "Let's go get your schedule." He smiled, leading me to an office.

We got my schedule and we headed to our first class. We walked in and I talked to the teacher. "Welcome to our school Miss Wagner. Go on and take a seat." I nodded at her, turning on my heel to see Carl balancing a pencil on his lip. I chuckled. What a little idiot. I sat next to him. "And the point of that is what exactly?" I asked him, setting my books down. "The point, ah fuck-" he dropped the pencil, then looked back up at me. "The point of that was boredom at its best." He picked it up and did it again. As class started I took a notebook out and two pencils. "Well, this is fucking boring." I wrote. I slid the notebook over to Carl. He picked up the other pencil and started to write. "Get used to it." I read. I looked up at him, smiling and rolling my eyes.

Debbie, Carl, and I got back to their house after school. "Hey," Fiona greeted us. "How was school?" Carl and Debbie both groaned simultaneously. "Okay, sorry I asked." Fiona added, flipping her hair out of her face. "What about you, Mel? How was your first day." I shrugged. "As good as school can get." I said. Fiona raised her coffee cup. "Amen to that." I sat my bag next to Debbie's and walked upstairs. Debbie was laying on her bed and Carl was on the floor. I leaned against the doorway. "I gotta go." Carl, says jumping up, and walking past me to get to the bathroom. I raised an eyebrow. "What's that about?" I asked Debbie before I sat down. "Probably to jack off. You know how boys are." She laughed. "I can hear you!" Carl yelled from across the hall. "You were meant to!" Debbie replied. "Anyways," She smiled. "Did you meet any more friends?" She asked. I laughed, shaking my head. "No, but apparently some girls are 'jealous' that I'm hanging out with Carl during school." Debbie laughed, shaking her head. "See, that's why I hate people. They're all stupid." "Agreed." Carl walked back into her room. "What are we talking about?" He asked, sitting in a chair next to me. "Those bitches from school." I said. He nodded. Debbie laid back on her bed. "I hate people." Carl laughed a little. "Yeah, join the club." I laughed at his remark. "I'm so bored, there's nothing to do." I groan. "We could go to your house." Carl suggested. "If you guys want to help me unpack then yeah we can go." I said sarcastically. "Okay, let's go." Carl stood up. "Carl, she was kidding." "Yeah, and I wasn't. Let's go." He said as he walked downstairs. Debbie sat up, looked at the doorway and looked back at me. "Wow," She laughed. "You have him so whipped." She stood up and I followed her downstairs.

We reached my nearly-empty room. I looked at the multiple boxes at our feet. "Okay, where to start?" Debbie said, looking around. "Let's cover up these ugly walls." I say pointing out the old fashioned wallpaper. I grabbed the box with posters and tape in it. "Jesus fucking Christ how many posters do you own?" Carl asked.  I handed him a 'Ramones' poster. "Too many." I replied, handing Debbie a 'Sex Pistols' poster. "Where do you want these?" Carl asked. "Anywhere." I say, handing him a thing of tape. He nodded and put the posters on the walls.

As Debbie and I made the bed, Carl hung up the posters. "Can I take a break? I'm getting tired of taping shit." He complained. I laughed a little. "Hey, this was your idea, pretty boy." I said. He smirked to himself. "You called me 'pretty boy'." I shook my head as I smiled. I picked up a pillow and threw a pillow at him. "Get to work." I laughed. Carl shook his head, picking up a box and opening it. Carl folded some clothes. "Do you have anything to drink?" Debbie said, wiping sweat off of her forehead. I nodded. "Help yourself." I said as she walked downstairs. I was putting books on my bookshelf when I felt Carl's hand on my shoulder. "Mel?" He said. I turned to face him. "Yeah, Carl?" "I was thinking about last night." Oh god. I knew where this was going. I gulped. "Yeah?" He smirked. "I'm a good kisser aren't I?" He winked. I rolled my eyes and laughed. "Shut the fuck up." I pushed him. "Make me." He said with a deep tone. "I will." I grabbed him by his shirt collar and pulled him into my lips. His hands rested at my waist. What was I doing? I met him not even two days ago and we're already making out. What's next? I didn't want to know. I heard him moan a little. I smiled at the impact I had on him. I heard Debbie coming up the stairs. I ran my hands down his body as he pulled away. He winced at my touch. "Damn," He whispered. "You are a bad girl." I smirked. "Only for you." I said under my breath. Debbie walked in. "You're room looks good already!" She smiled, looking around. "Uh, Carl? Are you okay? You're speechless." Carl nodded, sitting on my bed. "I'm fine." I smirked to myself. "Okay then, let's keep working."
