chapter nine

Caden's P.O.V

I sat in a car with Bonnie. I was going to teach her to drive today. "Okay," I sighed. "Try to drive across the parking lot." I looked over at her. She nodded before slamming on the gas and the brake quickly after. "Bonnie, I love you but please don't try to give me whiplash." I smiled at her. She laughed. God, I'm so in love with her. What happened earlier was so strange. She wouldn't tell me what Mel had said, but by her actions on the way home gave me a good idea that it wasn't good. I took a deep breath. "I suck at driving." She huffed. "Yeah you are." I laughed. She smiled and pushed me a little. "You were supposed to say 'No you aren't, baby. I love you.' But you know, that works too." She smirked at me. I smiled at her. "Caden?" She spoke. i hummed in response. "Can I take you somewhere?" She asked. I nodded. She started to drive onto the road and I clung onto my seat.

A few minutes later she parked. I looked around. We were on a hill, overlooking the city. "Bonnie, how'd you know this was here?" I asked. She shrugged. "I come here when I'm depressed, which is a lot." She smiled at me. "What'd you bring me here for?" I asked her as she unbuckled her seatbelt. "To do this." She crawled into my lap and kissed me hard. I pulled back and looked into her eyes. I pulled her back in and continued to kiss her. Things were getting heated and she tugged at my shirt. I took it off and she bit her lip. She undid my belt as my phone started going off. "Shit." I grabbed it and saw that it was Mel. "Hello?" "Hey, Caden. Can you come over?" She asked. "I'm kinda busy right now." I said, blushing. Bonnie giggled. "With what?" She asked. "Uhh, doing laundry." I looked up at bonnie, who was trying to hold in her laughter. "Oh, okay." She said, knowing something was up. "Give me about forty-five minutes." I said, smiling big. "Okay. Bye." She hung up. I threw my phone. "Now, where were we?" I winked at Bonnie.

Melody's P.O.V

"Well that was weird." I said to myself putting my phone down. I laid back into my bed thinking about what all has happened today. I almost beat up bonnie, I saw Carl cry, and now I'm in a relationship. What the fuck. This is so strange for me. The last relationship I was in I got cheated on twice, and sexually assaulted. I don't trust men. But Carl was a different story. I felt comfortable with him. It was a miracle that he actually liked me back. I was hoping to God that I wouldn't fuck it up this time. I always fuck everything up. But this time it'll be different.
I was startled by my door opening. And to my surprise it was Carl. "Hello, princess." He said, sitting down next to me. "Hey." I said sitting up and kissing his cheek. "Why are you here?" I asked him. He looked at me weird. "I wanted to see you." He smiled a little. "I thought we could cuddle and listen to music." He said. "Oh. Yeah, of course." I stuttered, plugging my phone into the speaker. Green Day started to play, and I crawled into bed with Carl. I wrapped my legs around him and pulled him closer. "I'm so glad I have you." I said under my breath. I felt him chuckle a bit. "The feeling is mutual." I just smiled at what he said. I hugged him tighter. "Wanna spend the night?" He asked. I nodded. "I'd love to." I smiled.
