Melody's p.o.v

Carl and I decided to watch a movie and cuddle. I think it is cute how Carl wanted to wait. We were sat snuggling on the couch. I was in heaven at this point. I had a great boyfriend, amazing best friends, I have an amazing life. Ian shuffled downstairs. "Hey guys. What are we watching?" He asked, sitting next to us. "Peter Pan." I said excitedly. "Mel picked it out." Carl said, sounding not as excited as me. Ian nodded. "Can I watch with you guys?" I nodded.  Ian sat back and recited almost every line with me. Carl groaned. "While you guys do that, I'm going to get a beer." He stood up and walked to the kitchen. "Really?" I asked, laughing. "Yes." He said back. I pictured him smirking. Damn. That smirk drove me wild. My life is finally looking up. It's about time, too. I deserve to be happy. I was snapped out of my thoughts when the doorbell rang. "I'll get it." Ian said before standing. I sat back and watched my favorite movie. "I'm a friend of Melody's. May I come in?" I heard a familiar voice say. I gulped. "Sure thing, kiddo. Mel, your friend is here." Ian spoke. I hesitated to turn around. I saw Vince stood before me. "I'm gonna go change. I'll be right back." Ian said, going up the stairs. "What the fuck are you doing here, Vince?" I stood up and walked to meet him. "To see you, babe." He smiled. "Uh, don't call me that." I said. He got closer. "Why, babe?" He chuckled. "Please don't call me that." I pushed him off of me. "I wanted to see you." He said. "I understand. But i don't want to see you." I shot back. "I miss you and your perfect lips." He leaned in. I pushed him off. "My boyfriend is in the next room and I won't hesitate to get him in here to kick your ass." He laughed. "Like he would do anything." He leaned in again. I backed up. "Carl!" I screamed. I heard a glass drop. "Oh fuck." Vince ran to the door and left. Carl scrambled in. "What's wrong?" He asked, hurrying to me. I shook my head. "Nothing. I saw a spider, but I killed it." I said, not looking at him. "Really? A spider?" He laughed. "By the tone of your voice I thought someone was trying to come on to you." He laughed again, squeezing my arm and returning to the kitchen. If only he knew.

Ashley's p.o.v

I was checking myself out in Mel's mirror. I had to meet Lip at the Gallagher house at 8, so I had a few minutes to spare. I reached in my purse and grabbed some mints. I popped them into my mouth before walking out the door. The air hit my skin and sent shiver down my spine as I stepped outside. I rushed down the stairs, looking both ways before crossing the street. I was so excited for tonight. I've never been more excited for something, ever. Besides a blink-182 concert I went to last year. I opened the door. "Hey hey!" I called out. "In the kitchen!" I heard Mel call. I passed through the living room to the kitchen. I greeted Ian, Mel, Carl, and Debbie with a smile. "Hi, Ashley!" Debbie said excitingly. She stood to greet me. Ian smirked and waved. "You look gorgeous!" Debbie said before hugging me. I thanked her and sat down. "Lip is upstairs getting ready." Ian smiled at me. I nodded. Carl handed Mel a beer. "So, what are you guys doing tonight?" I asked them. Mel shrugged. "I dunno. Maybe just sit and watch movies." Carl nodded at her suggestion. "I might be going to Mickey's." Ian added. "Shocker there." Debbie joked. "Who's Mickey?" I asked, sitting up a little. "Ian's boyfriend." Carl smiled, making kissy faces at him. "Fuck off, Carl." Ian laughed. "Ooooh." I said giving him a wink. "It's not like that!" He tried not to laugh. "Yes it is!" Debbie replied. Carl started to fake moan, which made Mel almost spit out her beer. Lip came down the stairs looking very hot. Skinny jeans, vans, and a plaid shirt. "Well, hello handsome." I smiled and hugged him.

Debbie's p.o.v

"Hey, babe." Lip said, kissing Ashley. My smile faded quickly. Ian noticed me and he gave my shoulder a squeeze. I sighed and looked back up. "Alright guys, we're gonna go. Ian, keep an eye on these hooligans." He laughed, grabbing Ashley's hand. I physically felt my heart sink. It killed me seeing her with him. I feel bad knowing that I like my brother's soon-to-be girlfriend. I don't know why I feel this way. But Ian told me that it's okay to like girls. That makes me feel good knowing that someone accepts me. Ashley looks at me and smiled, which automatically made me smile right back. "Bye, guys." She said, only looking at me. I raised my hand to wave, but I couldn't do it. My heart hurt too much. I watched them leave the house. "So, movies?" Ian asked. Carl, Mel, and I agreed. We then made our way to the living room.

We ended up watching Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. One of my favorites. I'm pretty sure the other liked it too, considering Mel almost pissed herself laughing. The movie came to a close and we discussed which movie to watch next. Well, the others did. All i could think of is what Ashley and my brother were doing. They were probably kissing. He was so lucky he could feel what her lips feel like. That is an experience I'll never get to have. I sighed, taking a sip of beer. "Debs," Ian said. "Huh?" I said snapping out of my daydream. "Want to listen to music?" I nodded, crossing my legs. Carl put in his Nirvana album. I tapped my foot to the first song and kept thinking about Ashley. I wish she would think of me like I do her. God I like her, I wish she liked me too.
