It was late at night, the stars were twinkling in the sky, and the moonlight was shining down on the HQ. The Alpha Echo Team was ready to go to sleep when suddenly the alarms were blaring once again.

"A man is stuck in a cave. The only entrance or exit has been blocked by fallen rocks, and the cave is filling with water." The computer read out.
"Fuck. We've gotta move fast, team." Said Arthur.
The computer then reads out an update on the situation, and it's not what the team wanted to hear.
"The cave is filling with water at a speed of half a meter every minute."
"Computer. How tall is the cave?" Arthur asked
"The cave is approximately Four metres tall." Said the computer
"Fuck! We've got Eight minutes!" Shouted Arthur
"Evan and Jas, you're in the helicopter." Arthur ordered
"Copy." Said Evan
"Got it." Said Jas

The rest of the team quickly got into uniform and then raced into the cave rescue bearcats, and they started to make their way to the cave with lights on and sirens blaring.

After 5 minutes, they had arrived on the scene, but this meant that they only had 3 minutes before the cave was full. A minute later, the helicopter landed on the scene.

2 minutes remaining.

"Everyone start moving these damn rocks. This is a race against time to get these rocks cleared before the cave fills up and the person trapped drowns!" Said Arthur
After 5 minutes, the entrance was cleared, and the water had gushed out, knocking some of the team off their feet.

"Evan, grab the backboard and follow me." Said Arthur
"Ten-Four." Said Evan
They raced down into the cave, and they quickly found the man unconscious and without a pulse.
"Evan, get him on the backboard. I'll radio up and let them know to get the defibrillator ready." Said Arthur
"On it." Said Evan

"We found him, but we need the defibrillator and the helicopter ready to go as soon as we get up there." Said Arthur over the radio
As soon as the man was strapped onto the backboard, they raced him up to the surface.

They got up to the surface and immediately put him in the helicopter and hooked him up to the defibrillator.
"Evan and Jas, you're in the chopper with me. Sam let the nearest hospital know that we'll be coming in by air." Said Arthur.

Arthur quickly started CPR on the man while Evan got the defibrillator set up, and Jas flew the helicopter.
After 2 minutes of CPR, the defibrillator was ready to use.
"Clear." Said Evan
The man was shocked, but it didn't work. Arthur quickly went back to CPR while the defibrillator charged up again. 1 minute later, the defibrillator was charged.
"Clear." Said Evan
He was shocked again, but it still didn't work. He had one more shock before he would be declared dead.
Arthur quickly started CPR again while the defibrillator charged up again. After 1 minute, the defibrillator was charged up.
"Last chance. Clear." Said Evan
It worked, but he only had a weak pulse.
"How long until we're at the hospital?" Asked Arthur.
"We're landing now." Said Jas.

They landed, and a doctor with a stretcher was waiting for them. The man was quickly transferred to the stretcher while Arthur gave the doctor the rundown of what happened and how he is now.
"Thank you." Said the doctor.
"We'll take him from here." They added

Arthur then went back to the helicopter, and the team all returned to the HQ and finally got the sleep they so desperately wanted.

The next day, they got an update on the man. He has made a full recovery and is being discharged from the hospital today.
"Thank fuck for that!" Said Arthur, relieved
